Agreed on Division. I played the crap out of all the R6's, reading the book again right now too. I love BL's humor and art style. I could do without the bullet sponge enemies and class disparity. We'll see if Destiny can improve on the formula.

I'm probably looking at Destiny with the most skepticism. I'm worried it is really just going to be Halolands, with the gameplay from Borderlands and the art direction of Halo. I'd rather have that the other way around. I wouldn't be as excited for Evolve if it wasn't from the same guys who did L4D and The Division

So far Titanfall (on PC) players have been mostly courteous. There's always one imbecile in the bunch, but they're few and far between. Xbox on the other hand, I'm terrified to even find out.

38 Studios folded shortly after launch. They had an MMO in the works as well. Rhode Island basically screwed them by giving them a huge loan they could never had paid off, then they defaulted on it and had to liquidate. Search kotaku, there was quite the hullabaloo over it.

I'm going to a convention this weekend. Should I go as cheap-ass sub zero?

Plenty of people were paying for PSN+ before it was mandatory though. It was surely a bit of a money grab, but like you said, they knew it wold work. Hopefully they're using the new cash flow to improve servers and such; I haven't had any issues in Warframe or Blacklight, but there are those that have. At least the

Yeah, XBL's paywalls are ridiculous. I gave my 360 to a friend after I got my PS4 and forgot about the auto-debit I had. I got charged for XBL after I hadn't had my console for a month and he doesn't have the internet. I called customer service and tried to get them to refund the charge, but it wasn't happening.

You nailed it. It's definitely taking the average new game cost. PC games are usually at least $10 cheaper at release because of digital distribution, and go on sale a lot faster than console games do. I find myself gravitating towards PC gaming, even though I also love my console. I already have a PS4 and might

Yeah, if I'm heading to one of the DUP trailer things I'll build up a karma strike on dealers or something. Well, I guess it'd be protesters for evil karma.

Maybe. Still not looking forward to some of the boss fights and larger groups of DUPs. Dat minigun is a beast.

Agree. I didn't have a PS3 so I missed the first two games and SS has been awesome. I just started my second, more difficult, more evil play through.

Eh, you'd get $17 worth of enjoyment from it. It's a very fun game and most of the DLC is on point.

This afternoon, games reporter and TV host Geoff Keighley released The Final Hours of Titanfall, a book-slash-app in the vein of his previous Final Hours projects like Portal 2 and Mass Effect 3. Keighley sent us an early copy, and it's a great read, full of neat tidbits, cool visuals, and dramatic details about how

Yeah, I know. The parameters kept changing as I disproved him. I did forget the RAM and OS initially though. He also refused to factor in owning a laptop/desktop/tablet for internet access on top of the cost of the Xbox to accurately compare feature sets. I also forgot to add on the XBL subscription fee, which is

Yup, my fiance is out of town this weekend and I have so much gaming to do. Titanfall, a second play through of Second Son, and now Tomb Raider. Gamer problems.

Yeah, I missed the RAM and OS and already addressed that. Keyboard and mouse are maybe $15 each, probably less. The monitor isn't a necessity, I was building this as a Steambox-ish PC, meaning it would be hooked up to a TV.

All true. I have no idea why people hate on Origin. It's fine to use, just annoying to have two different friends lists.

Ah ok. I love ME3's multiplayer, I hope they are beefing it up for the next game. I agree that it's much easier to hook up with people on the PC who aren't morons. You might have just swung me that way.
