I’m always saddened when people say they hated the quest of this game. Some of them are quest I’ll probably remember forever. 

This is one of those moments where i’m wondering if people actually got offended by this, or did they assume people would have become angry by this, so they stomped out the fire before it started....

Wait a minute, your bothered they showed you the half way point you knew existed?

A game implements risky design ideas.. ( second time btw, lets not forget the lovely demon souls).
People obviously loved the first game and said design choices that were made. They make a second game, same choices ( more or less), and people continue to provide the game with praise.
