Alright, hear me out, next year’s crossover should be:
Jason Bateman. But with fewer lines.
Don’t you mean “Dame Judy Dench is da chief”?
Quite a few Lebanese live in the area, but it helps to grasp the topic by knowing that they are not as similar as a common nationality might imply. A good many of the Lebanese community have roots going back to the dawn of the 20th Century, many of whom were Christian Lebanese. They were “not too foreign” for the…
Haven’t you guys given up on this player yet?
I am Anglo as heck, never had Spanish beyond middle school, and certainly no one can accuse me of being a cultural naif BUT: I still have never heard this “definitive” Bieber version that keeps getting mentioned. On the radio, at parties, on Spotify or YouTube, I have seen nor heard no sign of the Beeb. So how the…
Do you do tabletop gaming at all? Hobby stores will sometimes have open board game nights or waitlists for RPG groups. If there’s something that can facilitate introverts into socializing, nerd stuff is sometimes it.
So I just wrapped up on-campus interviews at my top-tier law school and I haven’t gotten a single offer. I didn’t even get more than one callback. I wasn’t all that thrilled about going the corporate/big-firm route, but since Tuesday I have been having low-grade anxiety attacks about whether I’m going to make enough…
This is mostly incorrect, outside certain statutory exceptions. Holding a refund is merely the first action. Followed by liens, penalties, levies, wage garnishments, pension/SSI garnishments...
If you feel that you can’t pay yours tax bill, there are resources available. Installment agreements or offers in compromise, some of which can even limit your bill to only what you can pay. I would recommend finding out if a law school or community organization near you has a Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, those…
Yeah if there’s one thing I’ve learned here at my top-tier law school, it’s that lot of these legal decisions are really just a bunch of privileged intellectuals sitting around a table and deciding fates. We had one moot court where not a single graduating 3L knew a thing about probate law, yet here comes an…
You are correct in ever particular. And let’s not forget all of the fantastic-Africa tropes that have been suppressed or forgotten over even the past few decades. Prester John, Timbuktu, even the pretty-racist-juju-man of Robert E. Howard, they acknowledged the place Africa has with its own myths, imagination, and…
I’mma let you finish, but I think you’ve confused Lansing, state capitol of Michigan, for Dearborn, Michigan, “home to one of the largest populations of Muslims in the U.S.”. Which just goes to show how these precious white supremacist snowflakes need their safe spaces that they won’t even protest where the target of…
I would say it’s something of a balance. Your empire can get huge in the mid to late game, but much of the minute-by-minute action is about your people. You have individual scientists on missions of exploration, admirals to command your fleets, and rulers (democratic or not) whose agenda can mean big bonuses.
A magnificent story, but I also have to say: GO BLUE!
Yeah I would rather lose hard in Mystery Heroes than in QP. At least then it’s the RNG’s fault. And it also challenges me to try heroes I never play (*cough*genji) without me feeling awkward about picking a hero I know I have very little practice with (and thus IT’S ALL YOUR FAULT WE LOST WEEB)
This is why I main Mercy. Even if the whole team goes down in troll-roll flames, nobody ever yells, sighs, or so much as sarcastically coughs at the Mercy. It is NEVER the Mercy’s fault, and I quite like that.
The short version is Joss Whedon and his buddies were on the (proverbial or literal, I forget which) picket line and thought “Hey, we’ve got the internet, why do we need these studios and networks anyways?” and so they set out to make an Internet Thing that blossomed into Dr. Horrible. Which made over 3 million split…
I, for one, ain’t waiting.
In terms of a case, whether she quit under pressure or was fired, either could actually work. If the finding of fact is that she was “demoted”, retaliation also works as grounds for a suit even if she keeps working there.
