Another notable one left off: Enterprise "Twilight" which starts with Earth destroyed and Archer waking up 12 years in the future. At first thinking a deception, it turns out to be real as the Xindi have ravaged humanity and chased them away. Uniting with the old crew for one last job, it seems wiping out parasites in

Thing was, it was written before they revisted the Mirror Universe for DS9 so things different. For example, in the book, they say the original trip was classified but Bashir says it was taught at the academy. And different history too.
But liked touches like Picard reading the Mirror version of Shakespeare and

Man, I KNEW there was one missing, fantastic episode, might well be the best of the animated series.
I remember they had a collection of "alternate Trek" stories published, one imagining what Wrath of Khan would be like with Thelin, the alien who was science officer in this new timeline.

Plus, the other Riker selling how utterly bizarre it is to watch "himself" die. Frakes wonderfully captures the whole feeling of it as "there but for the grace of God…." and how he's openly chilled at what happened.

Yeah, they're all so much darker and harsher due to war and instead of the "family feel" we know, it's a loose friendship but not as close as under such different circumstances.

True. Still enjoy the tiny touches here and there like different computer set-ups. And how you see Riker's Captain's office is different with stuff like his trombone and other personal items.
But had a few dark bits here and there already like Geordi dying and when Worf realizes in this last universe, his son

Love when Scotty uses the old-styled computer to come up with the formula for a super-strong plastic to wow a designer. When Bones takes a shot on him altering history, Scotty just smirks "how do we know he didn't 'invent' the thing?"

"Parallels" has some good stuff to it. I liked how Worf ends up in a universe where Picard died fighting the Borg so Riker is the captain of the Enterprise. So when Riker sees the Prime Picard, he lets out a heartfelt "good to see you again, Captain."

The best part of First Contact is how they run into Zefram Cochrane, the man who invented Earth's first warp drive spaceship, a man revered as a pioneer, a genius, a visonary who sacrificed all to aid humanity….
And he's a drunken stubborn rocker who did all this just for money. It's great to see, imagine finding out

And now I'm reminded of how much I miss Shockwave and Iron Wolf at Great America while the Demon keeps packing them in.

And this is just the show/movies. If we get to the novels, hoo boy…..
Most notably Imzadi by Peter David where a bitter future Riker uses the Guardian to go back and save Deanna's life. Excellent stuff that talks issues of time travel like Riker saying to Picard "I say you're dead in my time, you're going to worry it's

Fuck 2016.

Except you forget he's a pure South African racist, he thinks "no way am I going to die at the hands of a black man."

Plus, how the bad guys were different but Gibson was doing promotion in Hong Kong, caught a Jet Li film, realized this guy was a star in the making and had them change the script to Chinese just to cast Li.

For more in-depth take, read the fun The Bad Guys Won! showcasing how these Mets were the last gasp of "drugged-out, out of control party champions" for baseball, good read.

One spot I loved was a March 1995 skit where the "Superfans" reunite to celebrate Michael Jordan coming back. Mike Myers had gone so they had guest John Goodman in the role with "massive weight gain in mourning." George Wendt's guy had been "in a coma" since Jordan retired, brought up to speed: "OJ Simpson killed a

If you haven't, find the video of audience in 1998 reacting to Jet Li' fight scene, going "holy shit!" at the guy pulling these moves you didn't see then.

Greatest moment of the series: The leader of the South African gang shoots down Riggs and smugly holds up his passport. "Diplomatic immunity!"
Murtaguh just cracks his neck and then puts a bullet right through the guy's skull from 30 feet away.
"Has just been revoked!"

Do wish BioWare finally give us a sequel, so much of that world left to explore.

Bioware really pushes this because of the glorious scenery they'll do. So much of Jade Empire, I'd be taking my time to enjoy the backgrounds, amazing work, more so for Dragon Age and Mass Effect.
Ditto Prince of Persia games, amazing to see them work and love how at one bit of The Two Thrones you can pause and admire
