Also the Robin Williams movie Man of the Year where Williams' Jon Stewart-like TV host runs as a joke only to get elected for real by a computer glitch and those who know keep it quiet, thinking far better to let a fraud be President than expose thier system flawed.

Always thought Aptow was trying to tell him something with his character being a talented comedian who keeps making dumb movies. Instead, Sandler figures he'll just keep doing that.

Love the producers openly saying "we want to go back to when sci-fi shows were just fun." And they are.

The Shield season 7. So rare to see a long-running show go out with arguably its best season ever.

Just mentioned that, amazing scene and she sold the hell out of it as she realizes even her own home isn't the same anymore.

The scene where she's in her apartment, trying to get back to normal is great already. But then we see her in the closet, realizing how this imposter has been stealing her life and starts tearing the place apart, a blast of anger we've never seen from her before and stunning.

Torv's dual role may not be quite Tatiana Maslany quality but still cool how she shows the differences. Audio commentaries have her talking on how putting on the dark wig for Fauxlivia was a major move, made her felt different and enjoyed cutting loose more to show a more free Liv in this world.

First two seasons on Netflix, third about to hit DVD/Blu-Ray in a week or so.

It does pick up at the halfway point and the Waverly/Haught relationship is terrific to watch.

Do it, Earp is fantastic.

They've been making a real effort to get back to their roots and all four of these shows are damn awesome, well worth watching.

Do so. First episodes may play like "MTV Lord of the Flies" but then it gets awesome and wild and blows you away while racking up a body count Game of Thrones would envy.

Rough, SO rough but leaning to 4, the ripping of the public school system remains epic.

Earp really picks it up in its second half.

Watched The 100? That show can be brutal as hell.

To be fair, the writing also suffered, less the sharp fun of the first two years.

That Sense8 show was up and down but loved the portrayl of Nomi, a transgender woman. Really got into politics of the LGBT community (like how a lesbian slams her as "a man" and Nomi's girlfriend threaents to punch her) and fun show.

The whole "alternate universe" of this show was just fun as hell with the writers and set designers clearly having a blast with the background gags and throwaway lines on the differences:

This is a feature idea I'm surprised not touched on before. Then again, probably a challenge to avoid too many shows whose first season was their best.

Not totally. Good Wife had its fifth season the best.
