I found out today that my wife is pregnant. We’ve been talking about stuff like this most of the day. We both grew up on Sesame Street; we both came to the same conclusion you did about Elmo merchandise. It’s safe to say that was the only easy decision we’ve managed so far.

Now playing

Elmo has never had a moment that has made me get misty or shed tears. However, things like this were common in the pre-Elmo-dominated era (and still cause tears to well up):

I think in the late ’80s there was a lot of bad music being pumped through the radio and pimped on MTV, and there was a perception that it was all about the pageantry and not at all about the quality of the music. So grunge was an overreaction, to strip away the pageantry to the point that what you SAW was ugly,

The thing about being a rock star in the ’90s is you had to act like you hated being a rock star.

What is this? A room for ants?!

In the video I was REALLY stunned by that Boris Vallejo style painting of the male and female vault dwellers. After some googling I found a higher res version of it if anyone is interested. (Is it from Fallout 1 or fanart? Because I saw it labeled as both)

A lot of us conservatives are, in fact, mostly focused on smaller, more efficient government on every level, genuine transparency, anti-corruption, national security, the mechanics of capitalism as the true social engine of change, and the like, with the maximum amount of choice in life reserved for the individual.

Of all the things good or ill that can be said of Mr. Broadus, nobody can claim homie ain’t got cheekbones.

I hope they only assigned POC and non-christians to do that job. Purely so he has to constantly be aware his life is in the hands of people he is claiming to hate.

semi-sentient, disappointingly bland salt lick Donald Trump

I will not wish actual harm on that deranged moldy grapefruit, but I would like to see some kind of unsuccessful assassination attempt. During which he screams shrilly, pushes someone smaller in front of him, and utterly fails to use his magic gun to protect us all. Then the secret service steps in and arrests the

All “conservative” “plans” are always the total opposite of what they tell you they are.

Me too :(
I think “That... can’t actually happen” but deep down, I know it has before and I’m terrified it will again

Skipping past the really obvious horrible things, here... (like the fact that American’s need to remember history such as McCarthyism, Japanese internment camps, and Hitler’s rise to power)

I feel for the Secret Service agents who have to guard Trump. Or do you think they send the lowest of the low over there? Like the ones who sorta fell asleep on the job, or arrived at a potential bomb site drunk?

I don’t give two shits about whether or not Trump is serious. It’s more terrifying to see a large number of American voters saying “that’s a good idea!” It appears that many Americans, my parents included, support literal fascism.

“Compassionate conservative”

In trial, Fogle reportedly sobbed as he recounted how he’d hurt his family and his wife, who would be a single mother should he go to prison.

Bradford called Fogle’s pedophilia “mild pedophilia.”
