Yes, but it seems more and more like the show runners are willing to sacrifice someone above pawn level (as regards plot value, not fictional status) to distinguish from the books.

I propose all news stories must now be called GeddonGate, except GateGeddon.

The real question is who do they kill that's alive for certain in the books just to really catch everyone off guard. I'm leaning towards Brienne, but even an Arya or Margery death might even be tenable. Not many male characters that matter beyond the one death they have available because Tyrion is the safest character

Hamill and MacLachlan walk into a bar—

He's never had anything to compare to the work he did in Oz.

Welcome back Grimm Reviews. You've been missed. Please stay after Hannibal returns.

No chance that Jessie is the abuser? That's a far more complex and interesting mess to find everyone stumbling into.

We're just going to ignore that Beast Master cameo?

This show has no business being as good as it is.

If you're going to go so bland on the skits, why not throw in some nostalgic Oz and J Jonah skits?

Oh, I agree. Wasn't meant as a criticism. There's lots to like elsewhere but they've really started to nail the vital villain role.

Good call. Why Ally Sheedy wasn't Ultron is beyond me. so much experience AI craziness between War Games and Short Circuit.

This is definitely a show driven by the talent of their Big bad actors. Paxton saved season one and while season two has been better for a number of reasons, Diamond and MacLachlan are kinging it. Or killed it in Diamond's case. I look forward to more recycled 80s Big Bads. Emilio? Emilio?

It does offer a complete emotional journey. Get angry at the clumsy rape story line & then laugh at the comically bad death scene.

I don't know. I felt the season A theme "Everyone makes (and prefers) their own hell" was efficiently driven home with this episode.

Agent DeadMau5.

They must do Snowden, right? Is there a bigger journalism story in the last decade?

Step away from my work friends weiner tube was the tops.

I didn't mind the focus on Hunter, but in an established show he should have someone from the cast to team up with. Problematic that he lacked an anchor to main cast. Though I can't say I minded as much as others.

I don't now, "Let's get out of here before the iceberg runs out of fuel." suggests the show knows what it's trying to do. But, yes, picking up a tad of urgency would be good. No early Marvel movies to save it and if Coulosn is using pre-Vision that's going to be a very slow burn.
