Sounds like a Firestone I worked at...for a week.

Because: Texas
Drove from KC to Galveston to board a cruise ship a couple of years ago. Got stuck on a Sunday afternoon in the “Texas 250" on I-45 between Dallas and Houston. Bumper to bumper 85 mph with a multi-car wreck every 50 miles or so. I was a complete mess after that drive!
My first ever brand new vehicle was a 1990 Ranger XLT, paid $9500 for it. My son is still driving an old 1994 Supercab 4X4, it just won’t die.
Pretty sure it’s out, I’ve seen a couple already.
Well I must be really old, I always liked these cars. i even had a 2011 Impala LTZ that I sold a couple of years ago and I miss it.
Lighten up Francis!
I remember how the manual transmissions on those things would growl like a broken food processor. When I was in high school I worked at a Domino’s Pizza and we had a Chevette as an extra delivery vehicle when somebody needed it, wow did that thing get abused! Took it like a champ, I don’t ever remember the thing…
I had a Honda Accord with those motorized belts. Would pretty effectively take the glasses off of your face or rip the sunvisor clean off if it was turned to the side. Never again.
Train don’t run out of Wichita, less’n your a hog. Train runs out of Stubbville.
I had one like that and it was a diesel!
I had a glacier frost 2011 IS350 awd, I wish I would have bought that car but it was a lease and I let them have it back.
Probably a tie between a 1985 Mustang LX and a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser.
My dad had one of these when I was in high school, it was the 5 door hatch with a 5-speed. My friends and I did some crazy stuff in that car and it never broke.
I remember these things were not easy to work on either, and the manual transmission always sounded like they were in the process of self destruction.
