I think the fact that ARMS and Pokken have such a mode indicates that there will be a tournament mode. Maybe they won’t release the button combination to access it until a week or so after the game is released, to avoid spoiling some of the new additions, but I’d imagine it’ll be there. And probably pretty simple to…
“If I had a time machine, it would not be a tool for bettering the world. It would be a way for me to see how people from the past might react to modern-day weirdness.”
You can’t claim to be the best controller in the world with a d-pad that bad. It was SO BAD. I returned my first two controllers thinking that the d-pads were defective, before realizing that no, that’s actually how they designed it.
It cuts in some animations from the show, so you get the best of both worlds, from what I understand.
The worst part was that at the beginning, we were asked to “stay until the end.” That very clearly leads us to believe that there would be some big announcement at the end... and it ended with the SAME KH3 trailer we saw last night at the Xbox conference.
I’m waiting on the phone version, too. They really went out of their way to make it control poorly with traditional controls.
For those who haven’t played it before, some people may tell you this game is “on rails.” These are people who, like you, haven’t played it before. They are wrong.
Good. Keep delaying Shenmue 3 until it’s what it needs to be. Gives me some time to replay the first two in their HD remakes as well.
They only work with custom firmware. If you don’t want to hack your system, you’re stuck with proprietary.
Fun puzzle, do this again in the future!
The restriction on sale-price games is strange.

They tried. All of the carriers (except T-Mobile, I think?) refused, telling them not to worry, it won’t be a problem. It’s safe to say they won’t take that for an answer this year, and have already secured the extra cell coverage.
Shit.
Nintendo made a very fun Mario game for mobile, charged $10, and people lost it. $10 for tightly-designed hours of fun? How dare they!
Nintendo’s MO this generation has been to keep their cards a little closer to the chest. Since Smash 3DS was still actively selling, there was no reason to talk about it until now.
Blows my blows my mind that people think that four years isn’t enough time to develop a full Smash sequel. People seem to forget that Melee was released just two years after the original Smash Bros.
Every PS4 game that doesn’t require special accessories can be played over Remote Play. Some games have custom control configurations for it, but they can all be played, and it works surprisingly well on a decent connection.
