Yeah, definitely sounds to me like they want to do something in the FF15 universe on the Switch, but it’s certainly not powerful enough for FF15 proper without some serious compromises.

All of the advice I give someone before starting Undertale:

I liked this series, ad campaign aside. It’s good to see it back, but I’m cautious for now.

Hey, yeah. What the hell.

It’s also on PS4/XB1.

Twin stick controls, juiced by motion controls. Zelda and Splatoon do it, more PS4 games should do it (and MS should put a cheap gyro in their controllers, then do it). I feel like an accuracy god when playing Splatoon because of motion controls.

I love it. Many other games would give you achievements for getting each of the game’s very unique endings (if not some for its less unique, slight ending variations), but Undertale... well, that wouldn’t really work for Undertale’s trying to do.

I know everyone’s sore about this not coming out on Switch (at first), but honestly, after playing a little Blaster Master Zero in portable mode... I just don’t want to play games like this without a d-pad.

Since it’s just a straight time trial for the qualifier, I’m disappointed they aren’t doing this in a lot more Best Buys.

Oh, Imma buy the shit out of this when it gets its NA release. If it’s all in English, and it’s digital, what’s the holdup?

There are two types of people: those who use motion controls, and those who never spent the time to get comfortable with motion controls.

Almost any USB-to-Ethernet adaptor works fine; just check the Amazon reviews to see if anyone mentions Wii/Wii U/Switch. I’m using a $13 one, and it’s working splendidly.

I believe that, by the time this comes out, Nintendo will be sunsetting the 3DS.

Maybe if Comcast made it an even $20, it would still be around today.

They aren’t, but the story might be different in a year. Plus, DQ isn’t really a casual-fan type of game. For many DQ fans, this might be what tips them over the edge to getting a Switch, and it might be enough to offset the lost revenue by not doing the 3DS version.

Nintendo sells refurbished hardware from repairs, but not new hardware. Keeping retailers happy is extremely important.

I think they’ll talk about DQH 1&2 after DQH2 has been out for a while. Right now, it doesn’t make sense to sell 1&2 when 2 is still selling at full price.

My guess is they’re going to reveal more details in the fall because that’s when they’re going to start talking about the Switch version. It’ll be in that announcement.
