Extremely tragic, but senior boys hanging out with freshman girls and getting drunk is already a horrible start to the night for everyone involved.

One good thing that came about from their mea culpa is the Xbox/Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility feature. This is still one of my favorite capabilities on the Xbox platform, not to mention the myrid enhancements that have been added to older titles, like FPS and resolution boosts.

I wrote a whole blog about this (on this site! that no longer exists! fuck the herb!) at the time, and I stand by it to this day. Xbox One was way ahead of its time and some of its smart home theater conveniences still haven’t been adequately replicated to this day.
