I find the “both sides” argument fascinating, especially when it’s almost always someone who leans far right that presents the idiotic argument.

You’re finding hypocrisy here where none exists.

I personally know some very liberal folks who despise Elon so much now, they want nothing to do with him,

Of course their market share is declining. They basically owned the EV market because they had almost no serious competition until a few years ago.

And while Tesla’s share of the market declined, Musk’s stranglehold on thedouchiest CEO” moniker is not showing any signs of retreat.

I was very close to buying one with the price cuts. But fuck Elon Musk. I’m not giving that clown a penny, and don’t want a car so closely associated with him.

I’m basing my opinions on the loaner 3s I get some Tesla while my S is being worked on. Often they are 2018 models with squeaky door hinges, MCUs acting funny, and louder cabin noise. Compared to my 2022 3, they feel like completely different vehicles.

But that’s kind of the point… it will sell, until it doesn’t. That moment could come rather suddenly in the face of new product launches by competitors. Tesla was two steps ahead, but that lead won’t last if you don’t develop new products. Tesla is trying to preserve market share and squeeze competitors by dropping

Right, but one of the ways they make that profit margin is by not retooling every 3-4 years. Which was fine when they were the only player in the electric car for grown ups game. But now they’ve got competition and that’s not gonna fly.

You’re making the assumption that those things are important to any EV owner.

Atari started something cool. Atari isn’t around anymore.

You know what other Tesla is due for a mid-cycle refresh? The Cybertruck. It is four years old already, and in need of a refresh.

It’s really stiff competition, though. I mean, Kavanaugh helped provide legal cover for torture under the W Bush administration (to say nothing of his role in the Brooks Bros Riot.) Kennedy’s retirement led directly to Kavanaugh’s appointment, so fuck him also. And Barrett is probably gonna be our version of Sabrina

But they didn’t EXPLICITLY DISCUSS SPECIFIC NON-PUBLIC DETAILS OF A CURRENTLY PENDING SUPREME COURT CASE THAT INVOLVED HIS BUSINESS OR PERSON AS A DIRECTLY NAMED PARTY.

The least surprising bombshell of all time. Scalia was the original trough snuffler—he literally died while living the high life at the ranch of a billionaire who had a case pending before the court.

From the NYT in 2016: When Justice Scalia died two weeks ago, he was staying, again for free, at a West Texas hunting

Look those planes and yachts were already going to those destinations, it cost nothing to add us to them. And that champagne would have been dumped before it went flat and the caviar thrown out. so there the cost of the trips was zero

Boy. America is sure completely fucked, isn’t it?

A chip off the ol’ Scalia block. Clarence was always a Pig. Anita was indeed his victim and the Congress pushed Clarence T. through the system into a position he did/does not deserve. Now we’re finding how true that was. What a mistake it was to give him a ‘pass’ back then.

Another corrupt Republican.  Big surprise.

Fuck him, Fuck his election-denying wife.
