Once you get it rolling you still have those stick shift gears to provide whatever gear reduction you want. The trade off in lower highway revs should be more than worth it.

In case anyone is unfamiliar with places like southern Arizona, what rain there is comes in summer thunderstorms. There are a lot of small or larger dry riverbeds (called “washes” at least back when I was there) carved into the ground that would be fine for driving through until they aren’t. The water can come all at…
Her car must have gotten stuck first before actually sinking. If it had gone right in and she had to get out through the almost frozen water I don’t think she would be acting so casual at that point.
This could have been a good article. It ended before that happened. I’ve driven from NYC to DC and back a bunch of times.
A few years ago NJ increased its gas tax to normal levels and the gas there isn’t cheaper any more.

Maybe just that Vice Grip permanently applied.
The underlying problem is that this Valiant isn’t equipped with a Torqueflite. Heck, probably no Full Time Power Steering either.
Maybe they can find a nice PT Cruiser.
Something like this may happen anyway as car makers just don’t develop any new IC engines. If one company does end up with one that’s better and cheaper other companies might just buy or license them instead of coming up with a new version of their own.
This guy also did a video on it.
As a long time owner of a 1990 TransSport with a mysterious tendency to drain its battery that no one could find out the reason for, I had one of those. They were sealed lead-acid batteries, and the more recent one I bought has USB ports for powering a computer or charging a phone, plus an air pump and LED spotlight.
I’ve seen exactly one CTS-V Coupe close up. All the regular Cadillac styling cues but spread over a shape that is one of the most radical of any production car ever.
Not sure it’s exactly the same thing, but look what a good job Cerberus did with Chrysler.......
OMICRON!!!!
You had a tractor to drive? Luxury! When I was in school....
Google maps says the fastest route from Boston to Albany is on I-90 (toll road), 2 hours 48 minutes/169 miles.
These had optional rear AC. This was before typical minivans had extended air ducts through to the back along the edges of the roof like now.
The original European version was actually a Trans Sport. When they were facelifted GM didn’t want to redo and recertify the headlights so they switched to the unchanged Oldsmobile version.
A lot of cars today have big and very slanted windshields and deep dashboards, if not that long. Your brother is being ridiculous.
