Not sure what model you drove, but my 2012 Focus SEL with the Duratec 2.0L is easily as quick as the 2011 Mazda3 2.5L I test-drove a week before I bought the Focus.

Meh. It looks like it’s that stupid V-Tex (read: vinyl) upholstery or leather only. No cloth = no buy, at least for me. Leather (and V-Tex) is not an upgrade! Hot butt in the summer and cold butt in the winter both suck!
