I’m guessing that’s because TV and movie production has been locked down tight by the unions for decades. It’s part of the reason you need a million dollars to film a pilot these days. The ridiculous excess of the “Hollywood lifestyle” probably doesn’t help.

I’m not intimately familiar with them, but I seem to recall that there are one or two magical items in the Baldur’s Gate/Forgotten Realms universe that magically swap your gender. I found almost all of the stuff I listen to through Pandora. Plug a few standards in the playlist, like Leave Her Johnny, Cape Cod Girls, Farewell and Adieu, and Rolling Down to Maui. It should populate pretty quickly.

Actually, I never played either game. I listen to shanties for fun - they make great songs for driving long distances.
