I've heard about that show, and as a Bollywood fan I have an eternal love for Priyanka Chopra. That said, its description as being "Grey's Anatomy meets Homeland" gives me some concern. And yes, "Alex Parrish" seems an odd name to give her.

If nothing else, I appreciate this article for letting us know that Melissa Joan Hart still exists.
And you certainly have a right to feel that way. However, if your main reason for disliking it is because you hate someone who doesn't actually write for the show, then it seems to me you're doing the people who actually do write for it a disservice. As you've seen in this thread, "American Dad" has quite a few fans…
NBC's ingenious marketing plan of hoping you would think this was "Homeland" backfired. Which is weird, seeing as how the "copy a better show" idea worked so well for "Allegiance."
Yes, I realize that. We're talking about the show's lack of coverage right now, though. And by the way, AVC's previous praise of the show makes the current lack of coverage that much more inexplicable. So thank you for adding to the mystery in this thread, which I'm sure was your original intent!
"It looks like I just picked a bouquet of oopsie-daisies."
It's hilarious. Seth MacFarlane co-created it, but he doesn't write for the show, and the creative direction has been guided by Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman. Other commenters have already given plenty of reasons as to why the show is great and distinct from "Family Guy." I will reiterate, though, that the musical…
I'm amazed that they still don't cover "American Dad." I guess everything Seth MacFarlane has ever touched must be shitty, even things he has little creative control over. EVERYTHING, I SAY! LET US MAKE NO DISTINCTIONS! NOW GRAB THE TORCHES!
You're telling me that this half-baked attempt to cash in on an already-existing franchise wasn't good? I don't buy it!
DON'T SAY THAT IT'S RABBIT SEASON! JUST TELL ME THAT IT'S DUCK SEASON!
"And I would've gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling, dead-eyed nihilists!"
I'm not sure there are enough characters and meandering plotlines for that.
I wish folks would just stop it with these harebrained puns.
Why create new and original content when you can just reboot? Let's reboot everything! And then reboot the reboots! IT'S A MASTER PLAN!
It will, and I had the same trepidation with Jason Isaacs and "Dig." Was looking forward to it because I love him so much. But then it sucked and, well…it was pretty sad.
Some other commenter pointed that out, makes sense now. Although it was pretty surprising that a DC political power couple would have an open marriage.
Churchill is a polarizing historical figure. On the one hand, he led England through its most trying time as a nation and helped the Allied powers bring an end to WWII. On the other, he had some alarmingly colonialist beliefs and did awful things to India.
As Winston Churchill said, "I am fond of pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Pigs treat us as equals."
Psh, she was nothing. If you wanna talk about a REAL perv, hoo baby…that Grand Duchess Natalia Alexeievna was a freak.
On the bright side, "Zoo" has James Wolk. And I do love me some James Wolk.
