Comparing them is not pointless. As a matter of fact, it’s the exact opposite of pointless. It’s the living proof that, if you want to sell consoles, you need software.

A standard movie ticket for a night-show at my local Regal Cinemas runs $14. Outrageous enough. When I saw Dunkirk it was in the Imax “supreme” theater. Tickets were $20. They’re killing themselves by price-gouging. I know that this doesn’t cover premier theaters like Imax or 3D or whatnot. But, I’m still all for it.

*checks how much it costs for a 3D ticket at his local cinema... convert to dollars* Yeah it costs $17 for a ticket here in the UK. And that’s not one of the expensive cinemas.

I pay for an unlimited card... I’m limited to one chain and have to pay a couple of dollars extra for 3D but otherwise it’s worth it.

It would be useful to have long term monitoring of high level winds, temperatures, and chemical composition that can tell you a lot about an atmosphere that can’t be easily detected from the ground or orbit. We still routinely send balloons up in our own atmosphere after all.

The $200 is for PS Pros and Nintendo Switches... $150 for an X1S and PS4, $100 for an X1 console. If you’re paying $100 or so for a base X1 you’re only going to break even.
