What kind of specs does Minecraft require these days? Surely you can find the parts you need unless you expect your kid to try (and need) to get a whole bunch of mods working.

It’s not exactly a new thing either. In the 1960s, ad agencies would panic if they were running ads for an airline next to news stories of a crash. Ad targeting and content classification technology has gotten marvelously better, meaning it should be easier than ever to avoid these situations. Shit still happens, but…
“Aim for the head”
This is me. I now have two major categories of games I play:
Even if it’s done intentionally, they’ll be bumped.
Ehh... I’m nearing the end of the third book, The Tyrant Baru Cormorant, and I have to say I’ve been disappointed in books 2 and 3. Seth has some wild ideas that are very different from the usual fantasy fare, but is in serious need of a strong editor / story editor to take all the bold worldbuilding and put it into a…

I’m out of the grays on Kotaku so I often forget when I’m auto-grayed on other forums, but yeah is quite weird to open up a poll and then... gray most people.

I haven’t read the second Founders book yet because it’s STILL not available in US paperback/the same cover style as Foundryside (though is finally coming out in October). That said, I liked Foundryside but not nearly as much as any of the Divine Cities books. Most trilogies wear out their welcome by the third book…

Beautiful. Tilt-shift aside, reminds me a bit of Disco Elysium and Kentucky Route Zero.
“Oh he’s the best... and the worst!”
Bungie implementing a change that makes the game more fun and less frustrating? Why that’s in violation of the very spirit of Destiny!
I’m wondering if they can do this with other games that didn’t have any save transfer, like Control. I want to play my save with the benefits of the PS5 :(
While scalpers have been an issue, it’s been debunked that they have the majority of inventory. There just isn’t a lot of inventory and there is a lot of demand.
I’m sure this year being basically a year of delays for the new consoles is really thinning out the potential competition. But this also shows that Nintendo’s releases are (generally) super high quality that feel very replayable, even years down the line.
I came here to complain that reading the headline made me feel like I was having a stroke and then I got sucked into the article which reignited my latent desire to own a mechanical keyboard. It seems like the form factor are all standard keyboards though--are there any quality ergonomic form factors out there?
Seriously. 12, 13, 14... okay, not great, but definitely a period where many people express views that are products of their environment that they later grow out of and feel regret over. But 27? Holy moly.

Reminds me of some crazy Fallout build, where you’re a savant gunslinger who is most accurate when not aiming.
I’ll say for me it’s really an easy way to access my Steam library and non-intensive Steam games on my TV in a seamless-ish way. That’s all I really want and care about; if the portable aspect is great, great, but ever since settling down with a family I really miss having the room/time for a dedicated desktop that I…
