Honestly I’m a little surprised Nintendo didn’t propose a Pokemon games alongside the Olympics, with shorts featuring different Pokemon competing against one another. They could’ve rolled out a toy line to go along with it and cashed in big.

Yeah, that’s my understanding. For me it’s a matter of how easy it is to onboard more casual players / less tech-y people; lots of the friends I invited don’t/didn’t use Discord but did use Zoom, so it was just one less set up step for people who have demanding jobs, families, etc

How about outside the workplace? I used Zoom for Jackbox hosting throughout the pandemic and integration would’ve made that a much smoother experience.
