I don’t care about him, but mocking a person’s physical characteristics doesn’t just affect that person. Elon Musk will never read Jezebel’s snarky posts about his body, but other people with bodies like his who don’t deserve to be mocked do.

I was looking for this comment or I was going to make it.  Elon is a gross human being, but there is no reason to comment on his physical appearance. 

Right?! Especially phrasing it like “He’s a billionaire, how does he still look like this when he can afford to do something about it?!” is just bizarre, coming from a site that would shit bricks if somebody said the same thing about a woman. (And rightfully so, it shouldn’t be said about anyone!)

Generally articles such as these promote an impractical sterile mindset about food. The reality is that there’s a degree of acceptable filth in our food. Imagine how expensive food would be if it were all perfect or sterilized. The acceptable yield would be so small and we’d have a incredibly small food supply.

You should read through the discussion I’ve been having with Blind Prophet. It probably covers all the points you’d make and my rebuttals.

These days most of the money is on subscriptions rather than games. There is a huge base of players out there who only buy 1-2 games a year, the Madden, FIFA, CoD etc. crowd. So selling them PS+ Live Gold etc for the whole makes much more money than actual game sales.

Those studios still need people to buy into their ecosystem via a console in order to make most of the money from their software.  If you buy a game for the PS5, Sony gets a cut of that sale, same with Microsoft making money from Xbox games.

Zoom In/Out and it fixes it to a point. Sadly, to keep viewing comments, you need to keep zooming in and out.
