It’d probably be nice to go to one but I’m not a big festival fan. Most of the live bands I’ve seen were pretty small concerts. I can’t imagine the traffic in that city this weekend... their mayor was pretty much telling people not to go to work tomorrow.

This is a perfect example of one of those songs that are so much better as live/acoustic. I can listen to this quite a few times on repeat.

Maybe it’s because of Steamboat Springs, but I’ve always felt like some Turnpike Troubadours when it gets a bit chilly out. So I was a bit torn between that and posting something new and decided to go with some Mo Lowda while sneaking in a little Turnpike.

So American Aquarium release a second version of their song Wolves and I liked it before, but love it now.

I know that song best from its appearance on Scrubs.

These are two different sounds, but each cause me to tap my feet and bob my head to the beat.

Weather was in the 50s so spent the day doing yardwork before we get back into the 80s. Now I need some Turnpike Troubadours.

The Ringer? I like it.

I’ll be honest, I chose this song because it mentions my hometown.

Maybe they don’t want to spend $100 for a license to an OS they won’t use very often?

Well Deadspin, I only just realized the Super Bowl is tomorrow. I still don’t know when it starts but at least I know what day it is, right?

Well, from 25 seconds on the guy in orange seems to be harassing the guy in the suburban as the guy filming laughs. Suburban drives up to the light, guy follows close behind him and then flips him the finger. Around 1:45 the guy in the truck looks to call that biker out on it and he again flips the finger, this time

I’ve experienced the opposite of this, also in Texas.

It’s Friday so why not some music that makes for some good Friday night drinking.

When I was in LA (or more specific, Santa Monica) it was nice as many people were friendly. I don’t know if the actual LA area was as friendly, but the neighborhood I was in had plenty of people that would say ‘hi’ and stop and chat, and when I’d run into people biking there was a number of friendly people. Rough week... here’s a relaxing song. Looks busy in here but hopefully it will rise up and be seen/heard.

I don’t feel that way about my hometown - I’m Christian but religion plays too big of a role in that town - but my college/current town I love and would be happy living here until I’m 105 (despite being voted by a few places as being one of the worst places in the US to live).

So this is a band I’ve been really enjoying lately.

I noticed that with places like Chicago. There’s the Loop, River North, Gold Coast, Wicker Park, Lakeview, Bucktown, Lincoln Park, Logan Square, Wrigleyville, Boystown, DePaul, etc. And that’s all in just a “small” little area of Chicago. Here we have those neighborhood names but most areas are just described by the

Spent the day cleaning inside and outside. I absolutely hate having trees, especially pecan. Between the catkins, pecans, shells, aphid honeydew and eventually the leaves, the things are constantly giving you crap to clean up. At least I’m good for a few months.
