I’m pretty loyal to Toyota. Not exclusively (obviously) but if I want to buy a car that’s not going to cost me anything for the first 300,000 miles, they are my go-to.

Lordy I said this once and I had to seriously flamesuit myself from hoards telling me to stop upselling others. A colleague gave me this advice when I bought my first bike. I was going to buy a 250 Ninja but ended up with a GS500. It was some of the best advice I’ve ever taken.
Don’t think this would work in TX. Cops would run a serious risk of getting shot at when they approached a car to give them a ticket.
Agreed. I’ve filed complaints against a bunch of companies through the BBB which were resolved to my satisfaction. These issues were never car-related, so I cannot speak on that.

Is there some kind of rule where this topic has to be addressed on a regular basis, or Jalopnik will shut down?
ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz............
Acceptable place to urinate in my book.
All this QOTD did for me was show me how nobody seems to understand the difference between a “facelift” and a “completely new model”.
This was infinitely better than with the captions off. Love it. “fun crazy hernia who else can I do”.
This is a horrendous rendering. I don’t believe this came from BMW designers. Looks like a first year school project.
That is exactly right. I was responding from a “global” perspective. :)
Well, all M-version coupes had an S-engine. So the next best thing to a M-coupe is the M54 3.0i.
This is not the “next best thing” to the M version.
Part that made me laugh out loud:
Everything should always come in red. Why is this so hard for companies to understand?
I feel like this article could also be written about my Miata.
