You have it exactly backwards. Illot is going to Indycar because he isn’t considered one of F1's best upcoming talents. Three years ago, there was a lot of hype around him, but three years is a long time ago. The depth of talent in European single seat feeder series is so ridiculous at the moment that, unless you

And the cycle continues. Every brand does this at some point. Start small, grow into some bloated mess, then say “oh shit this is kinda ridiculous” and then downsize to fOcUs On CoRe VaLuEs or some nonsense that only marketing wankers care about. Then it all repeats.

Obviously, perspective is everything. They make high performance luxury cars. While their most direct competitor is BMW’s M Division, they aren’t nearly as far branched off as AMG is. A better comparison would probably be Porsche or Ferrari, and from that perspective... yeah, AMG has been slumming it for years in the

I guess that just mean that they will create a new AMG-line or AMG-Design or AMG-Sport sub brand to replace the actual AMG lite models (35/43/53).

Just put it in the fuel.

In this case i’ll let it slide.Italy are clearly trying to help their car makers short change the system

These are rarities, but you’re still making a carve out for the rich, which is going to cause pushback. They can find ways to make EVs fun, or find a way too run them on carbon neutral fuel.

I hate how people complain about “daddy bought him his seat” with regard to pretty much anybody.

Why would you imagine that Lawrence Stroll is any kind of an idiot? In fact, I don’t understand all your hostility towards your subject and the readers today.

I agree here. On the surface, the race might have looked boring. But as a Max fan I never really felt comfortable with his lead until the final few laps. When RB sent Max out on hards because they had no mediums left, I was sure Lewis was going to run him down as an eventuality. I kept a close eye on the gap and it

You have no idea how much I wanted Bottas to figuratively tell his team to fuck off and just kept his foot in it. They’ve already fired him anyway. Maybe it’s not late enough in the season yet...

I’d be so happy to have the aircraft that’s been in my family for over 30 years become a paperweight. Only costs half a mil to replace with a Jet-A alternative. Luckily, I, as a Part 91 pilot, have total control over the AvGas infrastructure.

Another nail in the coffin of tracks, then. Certainly it makes it easier for residents groups to block new ones and is a stick for them to bash existing ones with. Leaded fuel just needs to die.

Perez didn’t change his mind on the Hard tires, his giant smoking flat spot on his front tire did. He tried to out-brake Mazepin and had a massive lock-up, effectively ruining his tires. The plan was for him to go long on the first stint, making it possible to avoid traffic once he had to come in eventually for his

I still don’t know how this isn’t universally interpreted as an infringement on the 4th amendment. It’s exactly what it was written for, to protect against this kind of thing.

Thanks for a great career and for making the sport better Kimi.  A rare breed.

Lotus: light and nimble. If they ditch that formula, they’re just another commodity. I love the Elise and Evora, and my buddy’s Cate Super 7. Joyous to drive, so much feel, so direct.

in the US, airbags are mandated, fuel cell crash safety standards are mandated, front and side impact standards are mandated, emissions are mandated, back up cameras are mandated, 3 point belts are mandated, child safety seat connecters are mandated, ABS and VSC are mandated.

The “power of the free market” is a myth propagated by corporations who want to cut corners and see regulations as an enemy of profit.

I dont know a single person who has considered safety when picking a new car. Its always been about meeting functional use needs, fuel economy, and looks. Mix and match your order person to person....but nobody that I’ve talked to has mentioned safety. I think the average person assumes even the worst performing car
