Ironic, considering Red Bull has had the most reliable pit stop job. CMIIW the last time Red Bull had a loose wheel was in 2013 Nurburgring. Meanwhile McLaren had two wheel related unsafe releases in 2019.

bullshit. red bull has not had _one_ unsafe release in 2 years. you know who have had unsafe releases? all the teams not…

So a team practiced hard and achieved top status, then rest of the teams instead of also practicing hard to challenge that status they just complained and got the top team handicapped.

Pretty cheap of you ask me. A 120 mile round trip hoist through any air med isn’t going to be less. Flight hours and trained flight crews cost money.

That mid section of the race, when Hamilton and Bottas were chasing max, screwed up the tires of all 3 of them. Perfect call to pit max and let Perez drive on. I don’t want to be the cold water guy, but who wants this? It’s not good at being a fast or fun boat, and it’s not good at being a car.

Mercedes should definitely replace Bottas with Russell. But Bottas is right where Hamilton wants him. 

I would buy a S3 hatchback without hesitation if it came here. A more attractive, better featured Golf R with an interior that doesn’t frustrate the hell out of you. The sedan version doesn’t excite me nearly as much.

I don’t think Red Bull realised what a gift they were given when none of their junior drivers were quite cutting it and Checo was out of contract at the end of last year.  Maybe he isn’t quite as fast as Max, but a great no.2 driver will be there to pick up the pieces when things go wrong.

His only passing happened in the pits due to tire strategy.  It was still one of the most exciting moments of the race, but unfortunately nobody got to see it because they cut away from it TWICE to show... nothing of importance.
