Boy Mama is the DUMBEST influencer branding I’ve ever seen.

I feel like they’ll give up when they realize the reality of doing laundry on the road.

I have a hard time believing the family of SEVEN in the pic is going to have an easy time stocking up enough supplies in an RV to keep grocery/food trips down to every other week. At least living in NY gives them the luxury of Amazon and food deliveries.

Honestly the Stepford wives look more individual.

So, I live in a really small coastal town. Normally we get the summer people in late May, early June. About 9-10 days ago, (just before the weekend) all the NY and NJ plates started showing up, obviously not self-quarantining, shopping in the local grocery store.....and today, we had our first case of Covid-19.....a

YES! Thank you! EXACTLY!

The Kardashians prove that with every post.

If they really wanted to social distance (oops sorry I failed to include the hashtag #socialdistancing how foolish of me) they would simply pack into an RV and go boondock in upstate or somewhere within a couple of hours in the mountains. Why go cross country, using fuel and risking traffic accidents?

Sorry for your pain.

Which makes “Making The Cut”absolutely no different than half the advertorials Jezebel litters it’s pages with - case in point, y’all seem to have stopped trying to turn Bon Appetit’s BA Test Kitchen into a thing...your thinly veiled partnership did not impress. Take a seat Jezebel...

As if Project Runway’s heavy dependence on Maybelline (“send your models to the Maybelline beauty counter” or whatever) and Tresemme (“...the Tresemme salon”) are more virtuous than this show’s ties to Amazon. I mean, PR judge Elaine Welteroth does Tresemme commercials that are aired right in the middle of PR.

I’d like to start a GoFuckYourself fund for vAinsley.

It’s dumb to single out two individuals for participating ethically within the constraints of an unethical system that has no realistic chance of being dismantled anytime soon.

which are definitely apartment complexes, correct?

I don’t get the blanket outrage for people being landlords. Are they good landlords? Do they take care of the property? Do they offer reasonable rental rates comparable to similar properties? Do they keep rent increases limited? Then what’s the problem with making an investment that provides a decent place to live?

Amen - there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the Bell-Shepards owning some apartments. In fact, as rental housing stock in LA goes, you’re much better off having a celebrity couple like them for landlords (they’ll fix things, if only to avoid bad press) than some real estate investment ghoul like Steve Mnuchin who

WTF

“They’re going to waive the rent for the month of April”

Agreed. Most people would not have a place to without rental properties. Slumlords are bad but anybody trying make an honest living renting out home or apartments are not the bad guys.

Yeah I thought that was really weird to have here. They took the step when so many corporate landlords aren’t doing shit.  Like why are they being called out here?

I have no issues with Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard owning a building and I think they’re being really good landlords by not charging rent for April. It’s decent and I wish my apartment complex would do the same.
