2010 and Nickleback have my vote. Rock/metal in its purest form.

We’ve all been guilty of “ready, fire!, aim.”!
Your take is bad and you should feel bad.
I’ll bring the beers. And Scotch. And cigars.
I feel like your son’s AYSO team has a fighting chance to best you in reading comprehension. The tweet came from Germany. Germany has a good soccer team. [Cue McBain (That’s the joke)]
Me. I’ll be your Vice.
Currently living in Germany and watched it live, at a decent hour with my Saturday morning coffee.
Right up until it was eclipsed by USA Men vanquishing the Canucks in curling semifinals.
I dunno, in one hand, you have all those mediocre athletes whose careers were extended and enhanced by major injuries, and in the other hand, you have the amazing talents that were hobbled and had their careers cut short.
Thank you for correcting this. I expect nothing short of a “oh, super sorry, eh?” from the OP. A tip of my toque to you, fine internet commenter!
I’ll need to look that up. I did a quick calculation and estimate that Veith taking a line 15" longer could result in her skiing at a higher rate of speed, but taking more time to get down the course.
Well, I can’t answer true total distance skied, but the course is advertised as 1910m, so based on the winning time, that’s an average of 84.77 km/h, for a distance difference of 23.54 cm, or 9.2 inches.
I get 9.8 inches, with very clunky imperial math. Metric math quickly yields 25 cm. But I don’t think this is the correct approach. Using 90 km/h only works if that was her average speed. Veith could have been going faster than her at the finish line.
It’s important to be gneiss and not treat others like schist.
My father was a luger.
When you wrote that you had X@+2.5 and won the bet, I thought I was going to have to burst your bubble and “mansplain” how betting lines work, and that you had a typo, because there is no way #5 is a dog to an unranked team.
Ah, the excitement of sports when it all comes down to who ticky-tack fouled the other guy and sends him to the charity stripe.
I agree with this, HARD!
