Correction, the only one cooler than a ‘99 SI is a ‘96 EK type R!
My wife had a ‘99 Civic EX sedan and I still miss that car 14 years after it met a tragic ending at the hands of a Wrangler. I always loved the 2 door and I think to this day it has perfect proportions. Look at the sedan/coupe profile of this era Civic against the sedan/coupe of the E46 3- series and they’re…
If you want a Civic, this is peak Civic. Are there better cars for 10k? Probably. Are there cooler Civics? Nope.
I’m too nostalgic for stock Japanese cars from this era. I play Forza Horizon games just to drive around in cars like this. What I’m saying is I’m exactly the kind of sucker who would pay $10k for this kind of car. I voted NP, but I already have voter’s remorse, just like I would if I actually bought a twenty-year-old…
If the reviews are accurate, the original CT200 is still accelerating to 60mph.

The opposite side of having HOAs is having David Tracy as your neighbor.
The other thing you kind of got wrong was the LS’s greatest feature for me. I’m a Texan and I had never driven in snow until I moved to Ohio for 4 years to learn a new job position (I design buildings) and I took my 250k mile 1997 Lexus LS400 with me and it never slipped 6" in the snow - ever. I also never plowed my…
Driving a car from showroom new to 1 million miles in a (relatively) short period of time is a feat of driving. That’s a person who did an amazing, physical, challenge. All they had to do was maintain the car according to spec (starting with a perfect example, mind you), and just, drive a lot.
Having owned a first gen example at one point in my life, myself, I can’t say that I’m really surprised. Mine was a 1991 model that I purchased when it was 8 years old and a little shy of 90K on the clock in 1999. Even at that age, it felt more solid than my girlfriends then new Volvo S70 T5. So much so that she often…
“Trump gave me his word that there won’t be any car tariffs for the time being. I view this commitment as something you can rely on”
Cars keep getting more expensive, the amount of money/loan payments are going to keep getting more expensive. The problem is wage growth not matching or exceeding consumer goods.
There is such a thing available on the market. It’s called a used truck.
For Sale: Great Car. Only $15,995!*
I think there is something very handsome about a single cab with a long bed.
I’ll let you know when it arrives:
my ford pickup is getting a bit long in the tooth,
Agree. That means I don’t need a Semi anymore to pull my trailer.
I’ve got a feeling the driver has short cropped blonde hair, asks to speak to the manager all the time and is named Susan, Karen or Linda.
