My Hooptie Fleet is Boring

They wanted me to produce commercials in house at one point, and I had to tell them “Ok, that’ll be a drone, pilot, steadicam, new lenses, another camera body, a computer that can run real edit software, and I need full run of the dealership for an entire day with no interruptions.” Needless to say, they didn’t move

My boss almost had a heart attack when I told him I needed a *gasp* $300 reman DSLR at minimum for my job.

Agreed with this.  I do light-painting shots with a single exposure.  Granted your exposure will be longer than mentioned in the article, BUT you don’t need nearly as much post-processing, or any at all if you set everything up right.

I’ve recently taken to light-painting diecast. Granted I do everything in one long exposure like 25-30 seconds. Also my ISO is around 300. Lower and I’d be increasing the exposure time even more... you can only light paint for so long.

There’s a pretty sweet f31 black optioned out cpo at BMW Bakersfield that’s just out of my price range. Somebody here should get it

It doesn’t even need to be that complicated.

I have basically zero experience with studio shooting, but I can’t help but like the halfway done process photo more than the final result. It feels more real, and I don’t mind much of the car falling away in shadow, if only to draw my eye more to the scoops and strakes of the front.

My Toyota Yaris is in the same boat. Great transportation for the money, not great in the impress the chicks category.

Just as a warning, this is a tough crowd. Take some solace in the irony that every person telling you to read didn’t bother reading the comments of every person before them telling you to read.

Counterpoint: I don’t think any of this stuff was meant to be sexual, nor is that even the most obvious interpretation. Most of this seems like it could just as easily be interpreted as them having a completely platonic fondness for each other, like many of us have for a pet, or even a car. Even the bit where she

I simultaneously love and hate that brush guard. There’s just something uncanny valley about it.

I very much hate myself for the gif I’m about to paste here:

Hi guys! You all probably forgot about me because I look like I haven’t changed since George W. Bush was President, so it’s understandable that you didn’t realize you can still get me brand new! I mean, I haven’t changed all that much, so it’s important to know that I do have a V6, 4WD, a limited slip diff, heated

STRanger Danger!!!

Speculating why now-former Nissan-Renault Alliance

Y’know, this one may be kind of odd. I own a 2013 F150, and I specifically bought it because I need the extra space and hauling power (I occasionally tow a 30' camper, and there’s no way in hell the Ranger would tow that).

With that said, there are a LOT more people than I thought who don’t tow that much, and are

Alternate headline

I’m all about performance, but sometimes there is a lot of fun in driving something slow and sporty. While I have much faster (and safer) cars, my Honda Beat is a blast to drive.

But those tail lights will haunt my dreams...

My 2003 Tundra has them. They’re fantastic.
