Yeah, for sure. Proper tires are a must for whatever situation you drive in, regardless of drivetrain type.

4WD absolutely helps you corner. The key is doing it at a reasonable speed. If you’re hauling ass, then you’re going in the ditch, but at low speeds you can steer with the throttle and get the vehicle to rotate in the direction you want.
Great comment! Have a star
Unless you dropped a deuce in the shower and waffle stomped that shit down the drain, gray water isn’t “eww”.
This is probably going to be a very unpopular thought, but I don’t think any automated or simi-automated driving mode should be available to use at anything but the speed limit. In this thought, I’m not considering regular cruise control as a simi-automated driving mode. After all, it’s not the people doing the speed…
Dude, that sounds like a horrible adventure! Did you at least enjoy the Veloster, before all the BS started? I’ve always liked the way they look.
Well, Hyundai doesn’t have a 10/100,000 warranty because of a stellar history of reliability. I think this falls into the crap category. Their GDi engines have a slew of problems. I’ve known way too many people that had shit luck with them. Don’t get me wrong, I know that Hyundai has made some great improvements…
Or would a discerning buyer know to just stay away from it?
That’s the thing and goes with the point I’m trying to make, it made it over 200k. A crap car would not make it over 200k, before the engine let go. Those 4 banger Toyota’s seem to run forever. Even when they start consuming oil, if you keep it topped off, you still got a lot of life left in it.
I would not buy a car with 98k miles and a new engine. Did the engine need replaced because of bad maintenance, abuse, or is it just a crappy car? All three of those things are a big red flag for me.
Lexus LS 430, or any LS. Nothing exciting to look at. Nothing exciting happens when you drive it. Just an extremely quiet and smooth car.
I used to have a NX2000. It was a fun little car!
I live in Bakersfield and needed a new commuter car a couple of months ago. Got tired of playing all the games, or lack of inventory from the central valley dealers. Drove down to Longo and had one of my best buying experiences ever.
Neutral:
Consider all the energy kids waste by leaving lights on, cranking up the AC or heat when their parents aren’t home. Paying those crazy utility bills, because of their wastefulness is payment enough. Money ain’t going to fix shit. Teaching our kids to be mindful of their actions will make more of a difference.
I don’t know what they cost back then, but the new ones aren’t really cheap.
These little things are so cool! Not only have the value of these jumped, the Scamps are also out of control!
The 4WD selector knob, on my 2011 F-150 work truck. When the truck is in drive, it’s literally behind the steering column gear selector. Drives me crazy in the winter!
Sure, most newer cars that call for premium can compensate for lower octane fuel. But, by doing that, they also get lower fuel economy. In the end you’ll end up spending about the same amount on fuel to drive the same distance. You’re better off just feeding the car what it likes.
Damn, that’s kinda ugly, but at the same time, I like it.
