Heh. That reminds me. I got a speeding ticket in Missouri a few years back. The speeding ticket was ~$60, the court fees were ~$75.

Last month, I got a notification that a class-action lawsuit had been settled. It turns out that part of the “court fees” (around $5 or so) went to the state’s sheriffs and deputies

This bill was also a result of north St. Louis County municipalities turning I-70 and I-170 into a toll road. Pine Lawn, Normandy, Cool Valley, St. Ann, Charlack, St. John, Berkeley...the list goes on. Once this took effect, these munis deployed their code enforcement officers to cite their residents for code

God, when Missouri is ahead of you in ... well anything you are seriously failing

The overall tone of the ad, the wording makes me hesitate. On the face of it, seems like it should be a NP, but the seller comes across as a dickhead and $6200 is too much to put up with the hassle! So No Dice because I wouldn’t want to deal with this guy and his boy-racer modifications.

Having been through Germany’s TÜV inspection, I’m certain it would not have prevented this failure.

Let me introduce you to the Ford Ecosport.

I want to start with the rear hatch location. It took us 10 minutes to find the button for the rear hatch. (it’s hidden under the right hand side brake lamp!)

I mean, Ford killed off the Fusion when it was selling around twice that many per year. o.O

As someone who wrote one of those reviews, it does not

my dad writes your paycheck.

I have to wonder whether the universe is trying to send me a sign:

If they find slugs in the engine, there are WAY bigger issues.

If you’re old enough/judged responsible enough to drive a vehicle on public roads, you’re old enough/responsible enough to face adult charges for vehicular crimes.

Those flormats...

I hear now is a great time to buy Bolt. Someone told me they’re having a fire sale.

Take your dang gold star and your whistlin’ bungholes, spleen splitters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hüsker dü’s, hüsker don’ts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, and one single whistlin’ kitty chaser.

The 2.2 isn’t called the Iron Duke, the 2.5 Tech4 is the ID.

Not gonna lie, I like the one with the tailgate. The rest look kind of half-assed. Some of the vinyl covers are nice pieces of work. Puts me in mind of the original Barracuda, the way the curve of the cover extends out to cover the lengthened overhang.

Damn, they still sold quite a few Fusions even though it was a lame duck product. I would have kept it around as the one sedan option for the people that want it.

The first car my parents let me drive was a 75 Monte Carlo.  Shorty before I got my license, my mom’s car was a........76 Nova.  Hers was a 4 door, red on red with a 6 cyl.  I have no desire to own a Nova, but I wouldn’t mind a big MC.
