The Iron Duke was far from the worst engine ever. The Iron Duke could actually produce some good numbers with a trip to the parts counter. The Super Duty 2.5l could be stroked out to 3.0l. (out of a 4-cylinder!)

You are correct, it was a DS Classic. Our primary is an F-150 XLT Supercrew 5.0, where I can fold up the rear seat and put my bicycle in without any issues, the Classic just felt small. Putting the bike in without removing the front wheel was a no go. The Ram was a perfectly fine RENTAL for driving 1200+ miles, but I

I had a ‘23 Dodge Ram DT Classic as a rental back in November, and put roughly 1300 miles on it over 3 days. 3.6l, 8 speed. I think that was the only options was 4x4, the tow package, U-Connect and carpet.

The 85-87 Monte’s would have been a car of my youth..... to go along with the GTA / TTA Trans Am’s, IROC’s, and Daytona’s.

I feel that it is all about timing right now. The wife and I wanted a new truck, so we researched what we felt that we want and needed. Starting looking at cars.com, ford.com and starting punching zip codes 500 miles around airports.

I think you guys missed this one. F-150 should have been considered. There is a reason that Ford produces one every minute or so. $49,960 gets you a nicely equipped F-150 Supercrew, 4x4, XL/STX, 2.7l TT, 10-speed trans, XLT High (102A), STX, Sync 4.

Consumers favorite engine! The Buick 3800 3.8l SFI V-6

The 6.5l Yukon, yes, I’ve only drove one, and it as predictable as it was in the pickups. A good amount of torque, but limited on horsepower. It was certainly a driver’s type of engine in the Yukon, got good fuel economy and not intended for towing on that platform. For you, if you are in the market for the Tahoe

This thing needs a proper detail job, paint correction and respray where needed. While the interior presents itself well, the exterior does not.

This is the correct answer! We had one in Vermont last fall as a rental. Zero power in the climby bits, no agility in the twisty bits, no ability to even get reasonable AWD traction on wet gravel roads, could not hold interstate speeds, terrible fuel economy, disappointing fuel capacity, no interior room .  My wife

I own a Sonata N-Line and there could not be any more of a false statement that the car has large amounts of torque steer. If there is torque steer, it’s only at the very limits of hard acceleration, of which I don’t drive the car. I have also owned a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP which was the very definition of torque

The Sonata N-Line is an insane value for the money.  It’ll also be gone by 2025.

We didn’t get a wagon, with a diesel, a manual, IN BROWN, here in the states. Always jealous of what Europe gets!

I owned two of them, but I left after they discontinued the Fusion. Money to be made, or simply to handing it off to other manufacturers because nothing is available in the sedan segment?

This is true! ;)

Ok. I’ll say it. The Ford Fusion / Mondeo. It sold well all the way through the end. It was a comfortable and reliable sedan, and with the 2.0l or the 2.7l, they were quite good performers . I know that Ford needed room at Hermosillo for the Maverick and Bronco Sport, but nobody could have also predicted the global

Agreed. This is the correct answer. If I’d be spending that kind of money, I am not going to spend it on first year Z28. (82 Indy Pace Car....ehhhh.... I might reconsider.) If I want that generation, I’m going to wait until 87 for the 350 TPI, or 90 for the B4C or 1LE.

I’m going to go with 2 doors. Everything today is either too big or too small. I miss the GMC Yukon / Chevy Tahoe, although the 2 door argument could be for pickups, cars, and SUV’s.

I owned an 01 Bonneville SLE. Even after owning several new cars since, it was one of the best cars I’ve ever owned. Simple, reliable, good looks, easy to drive, and robust with the 3.8l. Bought it with 105k on it in 2009. Sold it for more money with 245k in 2013. It was a fantastic car. My wife and I often talk about

Someone already put the Bob Seger music to it. My joke to it was that Chevrolet instantly rebooted the “Like a Rock” sales campaign and signed Bob Seger to a 5-year contract!  ;) https://fb.watch/bZQUxFnSyM/
