Literally another article on here about a car it could happen for. If Toyota/Subaru would give the 86/BRZ a power bump like Dodge did with their cars. People would buy them. I'm not saying 300 or 400hp. Just a modest bump to like 250-275 would more than likely get people to buy them.

ive said a million times. We need performance variants of cuvs. That focus active looks good to me, and st version would be awesome. Throw some lowering springs on... Thats the sport wagon we are all asking for

What motivates people to always have negative comments to articles they obviously didn’t even read??? “Because I can” must be a powerful motivator for some.

Was bound to happen. Ive been waiting for performance crossover variants. Now do an escape st. Throw some lowering springs on it and, Presto, sporty wagon of my dreams

I really hope they do actually run the ring and post a time with this car. I was disappointed they ddint with the p1

Generally a fan of McLaren styling, but that side view, the front overhang doesn’t look right to me

So torn between this and the g70. This car is a little bigger and has the hatch. So more space and functionality. But the g70 is going to be slightly smaller and more agile with that same engine. I like the looks of both.

That exhaust though..... This thing is gonna scream.

I wish ford, gm, toyota and Honda would get into the oerformance crossover game. I’ve said it bwfore and ill say it again, a ford escape st would be the perfect performance ”wagon” we all crave. Just spend a few hundred extra bucks on aftermarket lowering springs to get the ride height taken care of and bingo.

Am I the only one wondering what the z06 time is and why it isn’t posted? If this car can do a 7:16 a lighter vette has to be below 7:10. Are the cooling issues so bad on the vette that it can’t do a full lap of the ring on full power? The ZR1 should be below 7:05, maybe even near the 918s time. Good job camaro team.

Well, there’s some expensive chevy’s near me.

Seriously, with the crossover market where it is. There needs to be some performance oriented ones.... Lowered suspension, more hp, different body work that’s our wagon in disguise. I know the Macan and such are there, but those are expensive. I’m talking more ford escape ST or something similar. Any one agree??

Did they weigh this thing before and after?

I like it. Can’t wait to get full details and hear this monster. Does anyone else see a little pagani hyuara in the front end?

This might be the perfect car. Room to haul kids, space to carry many many things. As fast as a super car, 90% of the veyrons acceleration at 10% the cost. And now, it’s actually a good looking car. I’ll never be able to afford one but for 100 grand or so it does everything and does it well.

I like it. Maybe try to pick up a lease return in a few years. Hopefully ford racing will have a tune kit that won’t void the rest of the warranty for some extra fun

I don’t think 458 prices are going to come down. With the new 488 being twin turbo, that makes the 458 the last N/A high revving ferrari v8. I think it will keep prices high. But what do I know, I drive a kia :(

Do people use these as city commuters much? I wouldn’t mind getting a small bike to be able to use to get to work cheaply. Especially for this price (or less once some hit the used market )

Because the gxp was the top of the line, end of model run. If there were a special edition ss , I’d compare it to that. Clearly u sre going to debate everything I say so I’ll let u have your win. Like I said, this car could be optioned down to be more affordable like the 6 liter g8 gt and be a family car for almost

You are looking at the msrp for the end of production gxp. You could get a g8 Gt with 6.0 v8 for 30 grand. actually a little less. I guess it comes back to the packaging of the car. This thing could be optioned down to be a real steal. I understand why chevy doesn’t want to do that. I was just giving my opinion.
