I like all your points. But the SHO stickers fo 40, again 10 grand less. So if you want to compare both on an aging platform.... the sho is much more affordable. And you cam get an RT scat pack with the 6.4 for 40 grand also. U don’t get into SS money until u opt for the full blown srt8. But in the RT scat pack u

I like the car, a lot. Its probably just sour grapes because I can’t afford it. I just don’t see why a car on essentially a decade old platform is commanding 50 grand.

You’re right, u won’t find anu thing cheaper in the same class, but you also won’t find any other auto maker selling you an “all new car” that is just a rehash of something they sold almost a decade ago under a different badge either. The SS is an incredibly weird car.

I meant 20 grand over a malibu. I know it’s not a direct comparison. I just think for what the car is, it’s over priced. Very little engineering dollars were needed for this car give it’s platform has been around almost a decade (updating a platorn isn’t as expensive as a complete redesign, and all of the safety

I guess I’ll jump in on the price is too high complaint. I just don’t understand it, this car is literally built in a platform that is 8 years old, it literally cost next to nothing to bring back into production from the days of the g8. I really like the car. I’m ok with the sedate looks. I would of gladly bought one
