I look forward to the day when we find out what Prokorov gave him so that he turned down the $10 mil in Minnesota for way less in Brooklyn.
Can’t blame Perez for getting rid of Ancelotti when the great Big Sam Allardyce is out there waiting to coach RM to every title possible.
Someone could write a never ending list of all KG’s shit-talking/high intensity moments and I’d be here trying to read every one. Hoping that he drives Bennett to actually being a decent NBA player in the next year or two, and maybe he’ll make Wiggins into the all-world defender he could be.
I still like the idea of same % chance of #1,2,3 amongst all teams, and after the first three picks it slots in via record. 7% chance for each team while having the back-up of nothing worse than #4 for the worst team doesn’t really reward tanking.
It’d be a shame if they hired a decent coach and we didn’t get to see Tyreke dribble for 15 seconds and shoot a 3 at the end of games.
Yeah my favourite part of Hubie is his pattern of run-on answering his own questions that lead into another question.
Walton’s “throw it down big man, throw it down” for all those Shaq dunks will stay with me forever.
Hubie’s considered a play-by-play guy right? Hubie has to be #1 for me, though I don’t think him and Marv would work together as well as Marv and C Webb
Kerr and Marv were great. They played off each other so well and in downtime had no problem with small talk. They’d actually talk a little bit of shit to each other sometimes, clearly in good fun. Reggie is too stupid to understand what’s a joke and he’ll take it serious.
PFT Commenter does that every week on his SBnation column
However long Dwayne Casey stays my lasting memory of him will be during his first year of coaching when none of his suits fit.
With that said, who’s the best NBA commentary duo? Anyone & Hubie?
Between Buchholz and Miley you could’ve convinced me the team was signing carnie’s to pitch for them.
Woulda been better.
Does anyone know of a really good interview with Pop from an NBA writer? Would love to read something with someone who really knows basketball and can ask him better questions than “what went right in that 1st quarter Pop?”
Damn you must hate Bill Laimbeer
He got 1 for the elbow to JET’s face, if we’re going by that standard then I’m fine with 2. Works perfect for Chicago, I’d bet it’s 1-1 going back to a crazy Chicago crowd and JR trying to make up for his suspension with a lot of shots (both alcohol and basketball related).
I put some of Lowry’s poor play in the second half of the year (and playoffs) to Casey laying big minutes on him when Demar was out. In December and January and Kyle averaged over 35 & 36 mins (he had 1 game in two months under 30 minutes), and his style of play is super physical for such a small guy. Add-in a couple…
Shit I didn’t know Kevin Federline was a Cavs-Heat-Cavs again fan
