Don’t be dissin’ the Honey Bee!

Man I remember when everyone want the coupes but would settle for the sedan and not even bother with the wagon. Now wagons are just as sought after and hard to find a good one for cheap.

Some research reveals that the bodywork was done by Genaddi Design, and the interior was done by Pininfarina. I was going to assume it was Carrozzeria Touring, as they’ve made some questionable wagons in the past.

That’s more of a long dead-wagon.

> no issues since I “take care” of them

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the Solara, convertible or otherwise. It’s the car for someone who wants something practical and dependable, but wasn’t completely ordinary. They’re objectively good, decent looking cars.

But that front clip is awful. The base model is bad enough but this just made it aggressively bad.

Apple does not encourage you to text while driving. In fact, their phones have a “driving mode” where it will silence all incoming texts so they don’t distract you while you’re driving. That’s like the exact opposite of what Tesla is doing.

Exactly, except that Tesla is driving the car, and texting while driving is already illegal, and also that’s not exactly at all, now that I think about it.

Acura Legend. I still want one.

That’s interesting...my ‘86 VFR doesn’t have self-canceling. Then again, it’s a bit of a hooptie, so maybe it did and it just no longer works.

The district attorney signed off on the investigation because he trusted his ADA without verifying. The Indiana judge signed off on the warrant because he trusted his local sheriff without verifying.

You remember the old joke about how a Yugo doubles in value if you fill the gas tank? I think the value of a Fiat doubles if you have a trunk full of maintenance records. This will not be a reliable car, but at least you’ll have some idea of what to expect based on records of what has already been done. This

GET OUT MAH WAY!!!

Psst - think Jan 6th. The committee wants to have a peek at those as well.

And even more importantly these days... cop plate scanning equipement, cop computers and cop network connectivity. If they got a good look at you and your plate, they can easily find you at home or at work at some point.

Nothing outruns a Motorolla.

Can you imagine the Stans if Autopilot is recalled...... It’ll be biblical.

In my experience GM has a pretty good history supporting their vehicles whether they were “100% in-house” or not.

On that Pinto, there are no photos of the engine bay or the interior, nor a photo of the speedo showing the odometer mileage, nor anything else to corroborate the claimed 55,000 original miles. Just a few far-away shots of the exterior, shot at night.
