Companies also have a legal obligation not to mislead the public as to the capabilities of their products. (Plenty of case law around this - TBH, I’m surprised the families of people who have been killed in Autopilot accidents haven’t sued Tesla’s ass off yet)

    ... something ... something ... somebody else’s project ... something.

Putting aside the obscurity of the engine, looking around a few airplane sale sites, the price isn’t out of line for contemporary Mooney M20 models. Prices for units from 1986-1992 run in the range of a low of $100K to as much as $150K (USD).

NP. Not entirely my choice of Jaguar, but the price is low enough to make it worthwhile.

Well - it’s certainly one the best looking designs out of Ferrari in a long time.

Was this a bad car? No. Not really.

VW reliability is ... a matter of some debate.

Like Lexus’s oversized “I ran over a cylon at light speed” grill, BMW’s newer front treatment is godawful ugly. No matter what the angle of it is, the proportions just don’t work.

Here’s the odd bit in reading this:

It’s in nice shape ... _BUT_ it’s not a version of the Si that’s really all that special.

Nice specimen, but $12K for a mid-80s Isuzu? Not happening.

I’ll wait until I see it in person. The 350Z and 370Z didn’t look bad on paper and in pictures ... then I saw them in person *ugh* - the proportions just looked all kinds of wrong.

The Boxster comes out almost a decade after this thing was built, and by that point the 924's fundamental engineering is over 20 years old.

Damn - that little Arrow is still a good looking design all these years on.

    Argh - really?

Good lord ... who did what to that T-Bird?

I’ve seen one or two of these in person.  Nice little truck for the day - and every time I see them, I find myself thinking “we need more of this”.

You may have seen one of the very few that ever sold in YYC - where pickup trucks have long ruled the roost for utility vehicles.

The del Sol was one of the biggest let-downs that Honda ever produced. I looked at one to replace my 1990 Civic Si. (Partly because the del Sol looked pretty cool)

They usually do de-equip them, but the problem is the basic shape of the car is so well known as a cop car that even “undressed” people still react.
