It’s not that he doesn’t bother keeping up. He LIKES the idea of having the biggest and baddest hurricane. You heard him yesterday: it’s very big and very wet.

Was it a mistake, or was it the fact that everything associated with him has to be the best, biggest, and strongest?

I think it would be fantastic if MSNBC had a guest that whenever asked a question about why Trump was doing something would just say “because he’s a stupid narcissistic asshole”.

What I’m getting from this whole Op-Ed is “I’m all in on screwing over the poor and the middle class, cutting taxes for the rich, eliminating regulations to keep water, air and soil safe and getting rid of immigrants (legal or undocumented) but does he have to be such a jerk about it?”

I’m still trying to figure out why this is such a bombshell? Is this not all stuff that has been exhaustively detailed in the dozens (hundreds?) of articles detailing how unstable Trump is? Is there anything new in this, besides the NYT giving someone a platform to mythologize about their heroism and the greatness…
