I believe these events are part of Wizards of the Coast’s (the company that makes Magic) celebration of Magic’s 25th anniversary and so they provided the unopened beta packs from 1993.

I don’t think this episode was the show at its’ best, but the ‘Smaug’ joke is one of the best of the season.

Definitely the best episode so far. As pointed out last week, we really needed more time spent with the non-Max-Leroy cast and this episode delivered.

Yeah, I have enjoyed it so far, but if they want to develop the non-Max-Leroy characters it really feels like they’ll need another 20 mins or so at least.

Oh man, I never noticed that it was PFT voicing Gladstone! A show can never have too much Paul F. Tompkins.

Doofus Rickdoesn’t have a Morty because he never got married and so never had Beth.

I'd watch a Miranda musical on Martin Luther.

I wonder if the show feels the same way. Eliot did raise the question of whether he was still bound by the rules keeping him in Fillory since he was banished, so maybe they will start finding ways to get the gang together off-world.

It varies from person to person.

The worst movie I've ever seen in a theater is without a doubt 'Miss March'. We had free preview tickets and I still felt like I'd been robbed afterwards.

I mean, they do write and direct every episode, as well as do the voice work for half the characters. They seem very much the 'hands on' type.

THE PORP MUST FLOW

Yeah, this seemed like the most unrealistic, sitcom-y part of the episode to me.

Did Brock even have a line in this episode?

He's already trying to balance his civilian life with his crime fighting life. How about you cut him some slack, man?

Ok, I'm sure it has been discussed to death above, but the Lion King joke is the best thing this show has ever done.

I thought the joke was not so much that Jimmy was secretly in to NCIS, just that that was the one thing in the list that he had heard of before.

My favorite Jimmy-face from this episode was the ecstatic look he had as he began reading his erotic fiction to Gretchen. I will have nightmares of that face.

Well, he was quoting the 2001 census, so maybe he's just been living in the US for a really long time?

I've been a fan of Brisco since I watched it as a kid. It was actually my first introduction to the amazingness that is Bruce Campbell.
