You opened the driveline can of worms with 4x4. A 4x4 can be 4wd or AWD. If you want to say the only true 4Wd, then you’d be correct, but only in the case of the Wrangler.

Had no idea this was a thing. Now tell me more about this CT6-V...

I think what everyone is missing is the capability of a longer wheelbase.  Look at the towing specs....7,650lbs? That’s like 3.5x Wrangler towing capacity...more than most buyers need, but now you can get a Wrangler-Truck that can tow your 25ft center console or a decent camper.

I’m waiting for the onslaught of CPO JL Wranglers to hit the pre-owned lot!

Love it or hate it, FCA is laughing all the way to the bank. Jeep is going to sell billions of these.

Second Question Guy: you should probably update your resume.

Westbrook “ripping a Juul” with an IPA is the most predictable scenario of all time.

AH!! Touche, salesman!

A YJ/TJ Hybrid would be the perfect Jeep.  TJ round headlights, YJ signal lamps, TJ suspension, YJ Interior/Rollbar, TJ 4.0L I-6....drooling.

Great story, David. Sounds corny but I have never met a group of people more generous and same-minded than the Jeep community. Every subset of automotive enthusiast is going to disagree, but that’s a good argument to have in today’s world.

Because the ratings and media coverage of IndyCar pale in comparison to F1.  IndyCar is also an arguably regional sport while F1 has a world-wide following.

Just when I thought your posts couldn’t be any dumber, you go and do something like this.

My family once owned a bakery and the best job was wedding cake delivery in the summer.  The Roadmaster is the quintessential vehicle of choice for...um...edible-fragile-delivery? Cushy Ride, strongest air vents I have ever felt in my life, and that sweet V8 power to get back to pickup the next cake.  I loved driving

Partly true. By numbers, North Korea and China and 1 & 2 by “number of vessels.” Until you consider North Korea has about 300 pontoon boats and China as 1 aircraft carrier.

From my favorite image series, and as of 2015. Of course we’re focused on operation efficiency while still bolstering inventory as aging parts of the fleet are phased out.  We already have what Russia and China are unveiling.

I know doing research is quite the undertaking for most Jalopnik writers, but actually writing “no longer CEO” is an incredible oversight.

Shiftin’ gears on the Disco Big Rig!! < insert Starsky and Hutch dance scene gif here >

If you don’t understand the difference between fast and quick when it comes to vehicles you are on the wrong website.

There’s a difference between “fast” and “quick.” A train is fast, but is not quick. A go kart is quick, but it is not fast.

A) I never said anything about torque B) you’re trying to rationalize this by “citing” a minute-subset of morons that drive their trucks 120mph but would apparently want to go 150mph
