I get by with the 79hp electric motor in my Fusion Energi on a daily basis, rarely do I NEED more then that for driving around town.
Now on the track, my 415hp C4 Corvette is nice, but after riding in a 700hp C6 Z06, that seems a better figure...

My dis-like of the Camaro is less about the looks (subjective) but about the practicality of driving one, its REALLY hard to see out of! Conversly the Mustang can be driven around no problem, until you take out a crowd of onlookers of course.
After reading C&D Lightning lap results, it made me lust after a 1LE equiped car. But going in to build one on the website I cant find that option avaliable on 2016 or 2017 models. Anyone found the trick to unlock the 1LE package?
Yes because everything in a video game plays out exactly in the real word.. or does it..
Good theory!
Works great my old daily Focus, 83 Celica, C4s. My Escort ZX2 Chumpcar I had to put a 1" block on the throttle to bring it up to the same level as the brake, but worked great after that.
Size 11 shoes.
The GT isnt a performance car? ;-)
While the example above maybe “text book”, there are other easier methods to accomplish the same thing that are generally accepted. I use the left side of the ball of my foot on the brake, and then rock the right side onto the gas. This leaves the heel of my foot on the floor for stability.
The method above my foot…
Why would there be a Charger (Hellcat?) and Jag in the group? These aren’t benchmark cars for a ZR-1. Seems almost more like rich guys trolling to get on the internet.
And VIR was totally cool with him purposely taking out the grass around the track?
For a random “you won” it looks like this car is in good hands...good hand four our reading enjoyment that is. Well writen, looking forward to future installments!
If this was intended as a joke, I’m sorry that’s not how I took it (generally I am the one making a joke that people take seriously). But based on the evidence of all the kids being left in cars, I do believe there are PLENTY of people that do think its an acceptable practice. And while there are those that don’t do…
...Best of luck with that defense...in court....
Depends on the childs age, if they are to young to be left alone, then you can still be arrested for it, regardless of the tempurature or potential tempurature.
Its like a lot of things, either you “get it” and love it, or you are just like 7 billion other people on this planet that thinks its stupid.
It is! Was there just a few weeks ago, got to see all the lights going up for the race, and barriers being set in place. Fantastic/city country. But yeah didn’t throw any trash on the ground...
I disagree on all counts. Sure the distance isnt great, but LA 7 miles could still be 1hour plus. So the car needs modern amenities, like well working AC, and good brakes.
What comes to mind would be a Pro-Touring type of build, with classic body, but all modern mechanical. You can be weird (Rambler?) or obvious…
When the episode started and its raining...I wondered why it was raining in the summer in California, cleared that up Ah they are in Oregon... makes sense.
Yes ugly, plain, boring, redneck, white trash
I had never heard of Palatov before. I was looking for a cheap racing seat to go in my C4 for track days, and responded to a CL ad. Went into downtown late one evening and walked into what I assumed was just some tweakers shop to find a bunch of these cars mid build, with their expertly tig-ed frames.
Not, the cars…
