LOL, this. I had a guy arguing with me about how high my price was on a dirt bike...literally arguing with me. I asked him why he was wasting his time (and mine) arguing about a bike he didn’t want at the price I did. Just kept telling me why it was too expensive. I sold it the next day at a price actually a bit

It’s not worth the effort to sell a vehicle any longer.

This vaguely reminded me of an incident many, many years ago. I’m not sure how the state came up with this determination (traffic stops, surveys, etc) but they announced that my county was the most prone to driving drunk and decided to crack down on it. I was driving home around 9pm one snowy night and was surprised

Time to remember the forgotten brand, Infiniti. Used G37 sedans can be found with manny trannies well within Erik’s price range. I’m 6'2" and had an older G35 while my daughter was in a car seat. I did not have to move my seat forward even with a Britax rear facing car seat (these are BIG) in the middle of the rear

Reminds me of an old military joke - “Is 4 a lot?” “Number of DUI’s for a Lieutenant? No. Number of minutes late for a Private First Class? Yes.”

There is no such thing as a car with “too many miles” on it.
There are only lots of cars with “not enough maintenance done for the miles” on the market.
As a rule of thumb, a car that has been constantly driven a fixed amount of miles per year is more likely to have been well taken care of than a car that has changed

We must have different definitions of beauty

I’ve always been told that if you aren’t pooping at work, you are leaving money on the table.

My personal fleet is pretty boring (Corolla, Camry, Sienna, detect a trend?)

Why do you keep replying the same thing to everyone?

It really irritates me that Rebecca left out the part where the Fresh Air producer said that they let Driver know in advance when the clip was coming up, prompted him to remove his headphones, and had the producer in New York (where Driver’s part of the conversation was recorded- Terry Gross records in Philadelphia)

What everyone else have stated, and one more thing: cost. It’s a lot easier for a taxi fleet to swallow the cost of a multi-hundred thousand USD sensor suite that’s currently required for full autonomy, when they don’t have to pay a driver. Removing a driver who makes $15/hr (about $30k/yr) means the fleet saves

Such a bummer. I recently panic-bought one of the last of the VW Sportwagens with a 6MT for <$22k. It was really my only choice. I truly love the V60. It’s the best looking car out there IMO, but it’s way too expensive and has too few pedals.

People who buy a Rolls-Royce do not care...how far it’ll go on a tank.

You need to stop now. You’re embarrassing yourselves with this ridiculous fawning and excuse making. I love the Taycan but at that price point 200 mile range is unacceptable and you know it. They have had YEARS to beat Tesla and they aren’t even close on range and barely(Maybe not for long) beat them on performance.

True, but you are still out that money while you are disputing the transactions. If you use an actual credit card, you are not out any real money while you are disputing. Always use a credit card when traveling or getting gas. Pretty much, find a good credit card with great rewards, put everything on it, and pay it

“2. The MPGe figure is also shockingly bad. If the range were explained by Porsche being pessimistic, this does not explain the poor MPGe figure.”

But what’s actually happening is automakers are taking it upon themselves to protect their reputation by perhaps holding back their equipment a little bit to ensure reliability and consistent performance, not just the biggest number they can hit.

Excellent video review and a fine write-up.

This absolutely - plus the dash remains the same whilst the screen size can be varied with model and series.
