It’s an Italian team. Style and fashion are a huge part of their identity, so it makes sense he dressed up.

The true depreciation of EVs tends to be overstated because it ignores the $7,500 tax credit that most buyers receive. Until this year, it was taken after the fact. So you could finance your Mustang Mach-E for $50,000, but then a few months later get a check from the government making your true cost $42,500. You might

And beyond that - those numbers are based on about 1,000 people who had some sort of affiliation with this car buying service answering a survey. I’m sure there are a lot of people who are overextended on their car loans, but I’d argue that this survey doesn’t tell us anything meaningful about the overall problem

So, uh, ALL DRIVERS? The statement in the article indicates 31% of FINANCED cars. So not counting people who own outright, drivers who drive someone else’s car (children, spouses) nor perhaps leases, fleet cars, etc. Don’t get me wrong I love this site, but his headline is rather misleading.

When I was in the Navy one of my side duties was picking up new kids at the airport, giving them a tour of the base and surrounding areas, showing them their barracks room, and warning them against the more predatory businesses in the area.

I think people are good at forgetting that we tend not to have to spend our every waking hour going “am I being played” precisely because we have decent laws on the books that protect us from ourselves. For instance, I don’t have to look up and research every goddamned ingredient in every food I buy, or check that the

I wouldn’t take a Cybertruck if they gave it to me free. I might take it if they paid me to take it.

It was probably a little closer to 2 and 1/2 hours. But, yeah. I was f’ing shocked. He had a great set of tools and a great set-up for doing shade-tree work. With slide out toolboxes on his truck, a built-in compressor running off a little Honda generator in the back, a portable car lift (I’d never even seen one

I hate to say it, but $100k is the new $75k. Cars generally have gotten more expensive across the board, especially performance cars. I think a better way to look at Corvette prices is to compare them to their competitors of the time. For example:

Man, where I live, people seem to do the opposite. They get them in loud colors, then double down by adding tons of rainbow LEDs and an obnoxiously loud sound system.

Nail, meet head.

Some cops view this as an affront to their authority and will PIT/TVI the “offender” (if not worse), so it really requires context and situational awareness.

Am I the only one who just doesn’t like this ultrawide aspect ratio? I can’t stand Insta360 videos.

We can add Kei trucks to the growing list of things that have more rights than women in Texas.

People say better? Or funner?

Wealthy people who made it honestly on their own typically don’t act like that.

Actual wealthy people don’t have anything to prove by showing off cars they can’t afford.

All of these videos have a strong stench of fakeness, an attempt to get their name (and more importantly face) “out there” so they can become, say, an internet celeb. Social media fame chasers have made me skeptical of 99.4% of the crazy shit that’s supposed to be legit.

Try asking them about cobalt in their phone, power tool battery, or why not the cobalt used to refine crude oil the next time they start talking about the child labor used for EV batteries.
As you said, they didn’t care for a second before this.

And realistically, the guy driving a Kona EV is not claiming issue about tire wear. But then if you compare a Tesla Y dual motor and let’s say an Audi S4, I am pretty sure your tire wear is pretty much the same. It’s just people don’t realize that 400hp on tap will eat your tires. EV or ICE
