Same story for my wife. She would have bought something else if the MT was not available.

You beat me to it!
The latter. Only 7k miles on the car. I’m installing a clutch from the Audi TTRS.
Replacing shocks, struts, springs, turbo, and the clutch. Just the struts/shocks/springs have 24 fasteners that you’re supposed to replace.
Same. I’ve eaten some stuff up to 5 years ‘out of date’ (powdered gravy bought for who-knows-what reason). OTOH, I’m shocked at how much more food we’re going through. About 2/3 of my meals and 1/3 of my wife’s are normally from outside the home.
Like David says, just stay away from people. I turn 50 in June. Turbo and clutch for my Sportwagen arrive today. :).
The turbo (is38 from golf R), clutch (Audi TTRS), and about a million TTY bolts for my ‘19 Golf Sportwagen are arriving today. Struts and shocks are on order. A few new tools arrived yesterday. Used it as excuse to finally get a small 3/8" battery impact driver too.
My factory five cobra replica has not moved in a full year. It’s way up on jackstands at the front of my garage so my wife’s Cooper S can just fit behind it. It was originally a short-term solution while I did some quick work on her ‘91 318is to sell but ... the BMW is still here and so is the Cobra.
I’m fortunate.
My buddy is a pilot. He told me he had 17 passengers scheduled for his 198 person plane today. I wonder if they all showed up?
True story: minutes before reading this, I mentioned do my daughter (who does not care) that I had to switch cars on the lift so I could get some work done on my wife’s E30 next week while working from home.
They didn’t restrict power in the C7s but they do in the C8s. Great quote from Tadge Juechter:
It’s probably a mess inside.
Same.
For the record, Koenigsegg told me that I was wrong about the front axle ratio being tall, saying, “No, it is not tall, it is correct.”
I had a winter beater Subaru Justy at the time. It was not possible to put $10 of gas in it.
No worries. “At speed” is apparently 5mph or so.
A big flat pack under the car is an obvious design once you have cells of the right form factor. I’m not even sure why it’s discussed.
Also, real tips coming through a valence have to line up perfectly or they look like crap. Fake mean one less thing to worry about on the assembly line.
AWD + snow tires = God Mode. I really wasn’t prepared for how good it is (V70R) compared to 2wd (E34 BMW w/LSD and e28 BMW w/LSD before that).
