It’s crazy. The current VW MQB platform ranges from the lowliest base Golf to the 394hp Audi TTRS and all kind of parts can be swapped. I’m planning my not-quite-R wagon (AWD Sportwagen, is38 turbo, 1.8T) right now. The electronics mix and match too.

Yes! I count bicycles by “could ride tomorrow morning”.

They’re crazy deals because noone bought them. Not complaining - I got $5700 off my ‘19 4mo Sportwagen but that’s no way to run a business.

^ Statements are accurate.

Didn’t they have a hiccup with the electrical system?  At one point there was talk of a 40V system but it didn’t materialize.  Maybe they had to do a bunch of re-dos.   Or maybe that’s just normal?

Exactly.  It can be a very gray area.

A. How many cars do they own

Agree it’s stupid not to put it on the front Corvette page but the 490 number shows up on the Build and Price pages.

I think it looks less awkward than the 3. So thats...something?

I’ve gradually come to one realization: the only time that’s truly ‘mine’ occurs before everyone else wakes up. Any other time is subject to pre-emption

Who cares? I would want the best drivers I can afford, period.

You have to start ‘em early. My 10yo understands (at a basic level) loan interest, buying vs leasing, that I actually have to pay for things after I use my credit card, etc.

If you get paid by weight, you did it right.

Meanwhile the other party is remarkably aligned. Weird.

That’s a nice spec and price.

I recently had a chance to check out an F50 on a lift with the undertray off, in a very un-Ferrari silver. It’s an amazing car. I had not realized the engine/trans were stressed members. The rear suspension bolts directly to the trans. It had a full Tubi exhaust system w/o cats. Sadly, they did not fire it up.

My wife’s convertible has it on the roof with gray stripes. It’s not as awful as it sounds. Or maybe it is, I can’t tell anymore.

They’re short but other dimensions are basically normal sub-compact car (Fit, Fiesta, Versa, etc).

Same dimensions and same problem. My hack: move any under seat luggage to under my legs, stretch legs under the seat in front. That lower my knees out of the way.  Removing shoes also helps.

Yes because logging. OBDeleven can do the coding stuff and it’s nice to use your phone but the logging interface is terrible. You can’t save configurations and it only logs at 4Hz. I’ve been logging 8 parameters at 16Hz w/VCDS. With only one or two, I see 30hz.
