Something good on paper, doesn’t always mean something good in reality. Given the particulars in how this could play out, it literally solves a problem while creating a hundred more.

A rollercoaster of an episode and another Tour De Force by Aiden Gallagher. That is one amazing actor, and that’s saying something when you have Robert Sheehan doing amazing work on the show as well. The whole cast is really good actually and it’s been a fun ride so far.
Also the look on Ben’s face of excitement thinking Allison was about to scold Klaus for drinking that early, only to turn to a look of disappointment once he realized she was saying the opposite, was priceless.
I had seen allusions to Sir Reginald being an alien recently, but the scene in season 1 went a bit over my head, and possibly with Five on the brain, I thought that it meant he was probably another time traveler or formerly a part of The Commission. It would explain how Sir Reginald would know when the kids were born…
As much as I love the frog and scorpion fable as a metaphor for the nature of things, it was great that they didn’t go the rote path there. It’s also a perfect dove tail with Klaus always using modern song lyrics to espouse “wisdom” to his followers as a guru.
So harmless insane person makes fun of harmful insane president. Thanks?
The energy of this show, the weirdness, and it’s frenetic energy that it gets from bouncing to different cast members and storylines is actually a feature, where in other shows it can usually be a bug.
I’m not only thrilled that we get regular coverage of The Umbrella Academy season 2, but it’s Caroline! Double yay!!
It’s absolutely criminal that Rhea Seehorn didn’t get nominated, and doesn’t win the category outright, period. On that note where’s Bob Odenkirk’s nomination as well.
I live in Orlando, for work purposes and because my sister’s family lives on the west coast of FL, and also my parents now that they are retired. We moved here from the North East a long time ago. I know you’re kidding, but believe me when I say that 75% of the people that live here are pretty good and mostly…
I’m very picky when it comes to reviewers from the big sites. Like a lot of people I find IGN and Gamespot lacking almost universally. Matt Miller at Game Informer reviewed this and he’s a good one for sure. I really appreciate independent YouTubers that have an excellent reputation of reviewing, and have been proving…
Very excited for this game as it is an Akira Kurosawa film homage made into a video game. From all the accounts I’ve seen from trusted reviewers, it seems to very much live up to those lofty aspirations. I can’t wait to play it.
Just started watching season 1, as this show flew under my radar last year, and I enjoyed the quirkiness and performances in the pilot. Looking forward to the rest.
I’m not sure that I’ve ever felt this range of emotions, or as conflicted as I am for my crushing disappointment that Theron won’t be playing Furiosa, to my shear joy that Jody Comer might play her, to the love and respect I have for Miller and his work.
Thandie Newton and Keri Russell were minimized... unforgivable.
These are words humans should never have to see or hear.
Correct.
Besides the one hit they’d hear, fans are really disappointed that they weren’t going to find out how to redo their kitchen with a really nice backsplash.
Hey Allison, I really enjoyed your Perry Mason review for the premiere last week, and looking forward to your ongoing weekly coverage. When can we expect this week’s review to go up?
A titan, a legend, a comic genius...
