The Last Kingdom is one of the best shows on TV, period.

Is it racist to prejudge someone’s character based on the color of their skin, where they are from, and just from an event they attended (that used to have a sketchy past, but doesn’t now)? I’d say absolutely.

You see, I actually think it’s for that reason that D&D and it’s framework is ripe for the taking, with lots of room for a good writer(s) to develop original characters and a great story that takes place in that familiar setting.

God damn it! I knew it couldn’t last forever but this is another disappoint the past 11 months didn’t need. I’ll never deny anyone their happiness so all the best to them. Loved the music for 3 decades, and I’ll wait for the inevitable reunion album/tour within 5 years. 🤞

All great points. It certainly was a hallmark of the last phase that most of the single movie villains were usually in service to someone or something bigger than themselves so I could honestly see it go either way.

That’s not the point. They would have been big like Stranger Things is big, but like that show, when you drop all at once, you get talked about for a week or two and then everyone forgets about it until the next season.

I certainly enjoy binging shows myself sometimes, although my definition is more multiple episodes a week. I don’t get much out of the shows I watch personally, by shotgunning them down in 2 or 3 days, but to those that do, to each their own I say.

I don’t see why not. They have certainly allowed plenty of plots, objects, and even characters to go back and forth, regardless of how much Kevin Feige might not go out of the way to acknowledge the past TV shows.
