All that shit's cool, but unless I'm able to plug this in and use this, I won't buy it.

@Outrider: Vertex hacks. These are completely new models.

@Archaotic: I play with everyone, and I can really notice speed issues with characters I used to play with in Melee.

@LucasTizma: Yeah, I noticed that too, it was horrible, and ruined online a lot for me. But I've gotten used to it, and using the GC controller makes it a lot less noticeable (the Classic Controller Pro, even though I love it a lot, just SUCKS with Brawl).

@Tiller: A lot of those issues have been hacked by various mods.

@shane.e.mulligan: Please replace Mario's FLUDD with his tornado. FLUDD is useless.

@dmcshinobi: There's already mods that let you play as Mewtwo. I don't think they're quite done (such as changing Lucario's attacks a bit more), but they've got a model in.

@SotSS: Er... They're doing that. They're taking various things that were great about Melee, while keeping in some Brawl elements that were actually good. They're also adding things to make the game less problematic.

@Archaotic: I think you sorta missed my point. I'm actually in support of this project. I just see both ways of the argument, though, as I don't play competitively. I just like a lot of Brawl's aspects, but hate its speed/tripping/bouncing.

@RockyRan: THIS. I played Brawl for 3 months, then played some Melee at school (best gym class ever). We played it every day, and it was so much better than my experience with Brawl.

@LucasTizma: Oh, and I can deal with the online. In fact, all of my friends have decent online, so the games go by pretty smoothly. That is, unless someone else in this house uses the internet... Blegh.

@LucasTizma: I don't know any of those techniques. Hell, when I was looking for a mod for Brawl to play like Melee phsyics-wise, I just BARELY found out what a wavedash was. I honestly don't give a crap about competitive SSB. I just loved the way Melee played.

@Kyosuke_Nanbu: .... Is it bad that I want this, yet I don't care about competition/tournaments? I like how Melee played. It was fast. My friends all live to far to play a game of Melee on the Gamecube. I like Brawl's stages, characters, and items. How the eff am I supposed to go back to Melee when I have no one to

@Mechalon: Great, because Melee has online and all those stages/items, eh?

The whole "Melee's so much better, screw Brawl!" crap annoys me, along with those that say "Brawl's the best, if you want Melee, go back to it!". I found Melee to be extremely fun, but it had too many clone character issues, and I found Brawl to be slow. However, both have their big advantages, and I don't necessarily

@Nerubasasin19: It's the physics of it. I loved fast paced Melee, and the lack of tripping and bouncing and all of that. I play online with friends due to distance, and that's why this hack seems great. I'm not a tourneyfag either, nor do I play competitively.

@Manly McBeeferton: Well, online for one. I don't really see my friends much anymore, and playing an online Melee with the stages/items available in Brawl would be awesome.
