I thought the top half looked like this, without a speaker grill (and the front facing camera and light sensor stuff in the shadows or something).

Personally, I've gotten kind of bored of the industry as a whole. The market seems to have split itself in two, with one side producing cinematic, highly scripted AAA games (which bore me to death), while the other is the indie/casual side, which is much more simple in terms of complexity most of the time due to its

I'd love that, actually!

They did, a side story on the journey was Phantom Hourglass. A game that took place on the "new frontier" was Spirit Tracks. I preferred the latter much, much more to PH, but I'm sad that there wasn't a proper sequel to Wind Waker all in all.

Aw man, I remember playing the first one's demo over and over again. I wish I wasn't so broke so that I could've actually bought it.

I've always said that the Vita is a little too ambitious for what it is. I have no idea why Sony felt they needed to use an OLED screen and such powerful components for what the Vita is at its core; a gaming device, which is more or less considered niche nowadays. I always thought that Sony would have learned from

New Super Mario Bros. 2 is a cash in, Mario Kart 7 isn't AAA when it didn't use the power of the system all that much, features less content than its predecessor, includes out of place characters (including a copy character included because of how easy it was to make him, placing a silvery texture on mario's model)

I wouldn't mind so much if the games I listed excelled at everything they tried to do, while at least having some unique features or something. I love Mario Tennis, but Mario Tennis Open is so bland and barebones that I don't see a point in it. Mario Kart 7 was okay, but if we're only going to get 16 new stages, why

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satoru_Iwata#Career Yep!

Well, he did work as a developer at HAL, so it makes sense that he'd understand video games! I do like Iwata, though. He spearheaded Nintendo into the GC era, where their first party games were at their best since the SNES days, imo.

I'd agree with most of that as well. Don't get me wrong, I really do love 3D Land. I own 6 3DS games, and it's the one usually inside my system. I just wish there were more memorable moments, there wasn't really a "Dino Piranha" or "King Bob-omb" moment in the game (especially seeing as there weren't any other bosses

Yeah, I really wish I did that. Really, the most I've gotten out of my system is Kid Icarus (excellent game, the controls did kinda hurt, but they weren't as awful as everyone said), nothing has realy stood out and shown me "this is what the system can do" in terms of complexity, but KI approaches that. Other than

I was originally going to say SM3DL was the closest to that intuitive status. I guess I brushed past that.

I know, I really do like Pushmo and Sakura Samurai, and I do plan on picking up Dillon's Rolling Western and Ketzal's Corridors someday!

I have to say that they've already overdone Mario. The 3DS has a couple of first party games, and the sheer amount of Mario titles eclipses everything else. The only first party titles for the system that aren't Mario that I can think of are Pilotwings, Steel Diver, the two remakes, Kid Icarus, Fire Emblem, and the

Edit: Double Post?

As a gay, hispanic teen... Stuff like this confuses me. I've never understood what's the deal with pride over sex, orientation, or race. I'd rather just be "that guy" than "that gay guy", or "that mexican guy". Being grouped with others because of my sexual preference just doesn't sound logical to me. Especially when

I feel Mario needs a major reinvention because I believe at this point no innovation has come from the series since Galaxy.

I did too.

A bit off topic (sorta), but is it just me, or do the backgrounds in this game kinda look awful? I don't know if they meant for it to look bad, but that misted looking doesn't look that good when everything looks like its on the same layer. Tie that together with the flowers that have like 3 frames of animation, and
