I think that’s true but we mostly play together/take turns/watch each other play. She likes messing with the flowers; I don’t care about that. She hates fishing; I like fishing.... etc. Aka we use the same character. 

That’s about how long it took my wife and I to figure that out. And another week after that to find out about sneaking up to a bug with the net at the ready.

How do I not unknowingly clench my jaw all night, waking up to headaches that last all day and probably are destroying my teeth? I assume it’s stress related. My dentist recommended a night guard like a month and a half ago but yea that’s obviously not happening anytime soon.

We live in the suburbs, so we talk to a few of our neighbors here and there. The ones we talk to the most had some landscaper or something over the other day. Not sure why they would risk that right now, they were standing close to each other etc.

My sister in law is getting married in June on the other side of the country and she is (optimistically? foolishly?) thinking that this wedding is going on without a hitch. My mother in law has been all up my wife’s butt asking if we’ve booked our flights yet. This isn’t really related to your story just... wtf.

Polis gave (relatively speaking) good news during his presser today. Hopefully it keeps trending in the right direction.

My wife and I play this together at night, and she can’t help but laugh at how all of my goals are to pay down our mortgage, which is very similar to our real life financial plan.

Yup I was in one of those “interviews” that was in a big auditorium with the presentation mostly being about their yearly retreat to Hawaii and how the top people drive fancy sports cars... There were probably 30 people there waiting for interviews.. after 15 mins or so I pretended to get up to get water and snuck…

Never jinx yourself people. That car I paid off got rear-ended and I believe it is totaled. Fun!

I wasn’t necessarily deeply in debt or in a bad place, but once you start paying off some financed stuff like cars/student loans/home expenses, things start to feel really good. My wife and I are socking an extra $1000-2000 a month into savings at the moment and it’s very nice to start stockpiling again.
