WebOS is still in use in some sense, but I put it with the better versions of Windows Phone as an operating system that I preferred to Android and iOS.
I think we are being a tad unfair to Palm in this comparison, it did flounder but saw several lifts and falls before it was acquired by HP and then murdered intentionally and foolishly before the meticulously planned WebOS refresh/HP Pre3 launch could complete.
There isn’t any judgment either way on their diligence, merely that they’re making an effort while far behind.
